PLEX SCAM TO GET CSM VOTE FROM PLAYERS

Not long ago today the player Dravius III scammed me to vote for him by promising me a PLEX. His tactic is saying he will contract it to you after getting the confirmation of you voting for him and then he leaes th chat without giving you what he promised. We must make sure that players like this dont become the CSM. If he gets there by using corruption, more than likely he will use his power as CSM to benefit himself and his alliance. Be aware from scammers like Dravius III and dont vote for anyone until you receive what theyy have promised you as reward. Dont be an idiot like me!!!!.

Heres the scam part of the CONVO:

[09:51:50] Darius III > OOps sorry
[09:51:53] Darius III > went to link you
[09:52:08] Darius III > That you were scammed
[09:52:11] Darius III > Sorry
[09:52:30] Darius III > Please dont make a forum p[ost about it on crime and punishment though, that would ruin me

Theres no shortage of stupid in Eve, thankfully. Even though they say when someone leaves Eve for Wow the average IQ of both player bases improves.

Hehe, the real scam here is that Darius III got you to do exactly what he wanted you to do, create more publicity. Congratulations both of you :)

I am always amazed how angry these people get....They tried to SELL THEIR VOTE, then get indignant when they dont get paid. Most people know my alts, and I DO a bit of altposting, but seldom if ever these days in C+P. I only post my real adventures in this forum and dont even troll much, here anyway. C+P is what kept me in the game years ago, and I treat with a bit of respect. It may be the most trash filled forum on Eve-O, but it is my home and I respect it as such.

Not to hijack the thread, but I feel the same way. I was getting really, really bored with Eve, and then I decided to start "looking into what those trolls on the forums are up to." Not long after I started my PvP career (such as it is). The best people hang out in C&P, which doesn't speak well for the other parts of the forum...
