I'm considering joining a pvp/exploration type corporation(I know been playing for nearly a year and haven't joined one yet!) and would like to know how much time do they require from their players. Thats the one thing that has been holding me back from joining one to date. I'm kinda of a loner and would like to do stuff on my own sometimes. I usually average about 20 to 25 hours a week in the game. Is that low or high compared to most players out there?

20-25 hours a week is fine for PvE ...

in nearly 5 years of having a toon, I've only amassed about 6 months of actual "in game" time...

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I think I play around the same amount of time a week as you do.

And if it's enough to "blend" in with the corp, that also depends on the corp you join. Some corps require you to be ready almost 24/7, others are really relaxed. Limited game time does somehow limit you what kind of PvP you can do from time to time, when you only have like 30 min / 1 hour Game time on a single day it might be hard to tag along with a roam, as you will leave while you are still roaming and this likely means you will log back in somewhere hostile / far from your home system.

But then again, even with limited game time there is plenty of opportunity to do PvP if you find the right corp

If you've got limited play time it's worth while putting a bit more thought into having things ready. One of the biggest "wastes" of time on the group pvp front is getting people in their ships on time, in the right place, with the right ammo (or even with ammo!?) ...

It holds for everyone, but if you're going to make the most of a limited amount of time you have in pod it's something to think about.
