Gallente has some pretty damn good FCs. I tell you that much. In fact, all 4 factions have solid FCs without the emo raging you find in other parts of space. There just isn't that much to rage about really.

You will find small gang, blobs, cap fights, hisec ganks, cheap thrill plexing, and nullsec roams in FW. It really is up to you to decide what you choose to make of the FW space. Don't let trolls and heresy dictate the decision making process for you. I'm a recruiter so I'm often at the front line when it comes to hearing the perceptions of new recruits and what they thought was or is true of FW. And most of what they believe to be true is so far from reality. Too much group think.

I've seen quite a few new Caldari corps popping up so competition is pretty healthy.
