Dissing the King?

Maybe not a novel idea perhaps as I'm sure some of you may have already thought it.

But considering that the Mittani is the self acclaimed "king of grieifing" would it be respectfull of those wishes to in fact show him the ultimate demonstration of annoyance by not voting for him for CSM7?

I see more than sufficient alternative candidates that could easily continue to support nefarious activities and other criminal issues as valid aspects of gameplay. Also at the same time there are other candidates who can equally represent what seems to be the Mittani's singular area of representation of PvP. Which is interesting that he might wish to monopolise that area of EvE for himself though other candidates are showing a more active persuit towards the up coming PvP elements of the Inferno expansion and I imagine equally have a huge interest in this important area of the game.

Likewise other elements e.g. Bounty Hunting, that could be used to increase PvP and help to encourage more player interaction in ship to ship combat and promoting this as fun elements in a game designed to challenge pilots and increase risk for all concerned, is viewed to be put on the back burner by Mittens, and yet other candidates see it as an important issue. At the same time it could quite easily open up an area of revenue to mercenary minded of course. Some candidates and individuals see this development as a potential rejuvinator to low sec activity, especially moreso if it can accomodate greater pirating possibilites as a result with some of the developed features that would be equally useful to them.

I can only assume that the Mittani see's it as too much of a challenge personally and as such holds a vote of no confidence in the criminal element or their capabilties and wants to wrap them in "cotton wool" and boredom for aslong as possible.

My main point therefore being, perhaps show the ultimate respect to the Mittani by outdoing his efforts here (or lack of if you consider the absence of Hulkageddon so far to be a promise yet to be fullfilled as relevant to you) and going one level further in disrepectfulness.

tl;dr: Go for the ultimate tears, CSM Presidents tears. Vote for someone else in CSM7. Twisted

Unfortunately Mittani will win a CSM seat (100% chance) and will become chairman (98.52% chance) and there is nothing anyone can do about it. All I can suggest is to vote someone in who he hates with a passion. Someone he has gone to great lengths to deceive the Eve community about. Someone who has embarrassed him a few times.

Of course I am referring to myself. It is possible (44% chance) that I will win a Seat on the CSM but less likely that I will be among the 7 of 14 who gets to attend the summits (8.6% chance). Should I be one of the top 7 CSM in terms of votes, I assure you (126% chance) that Mittani will be furious.

Hmmm

One interesting stat to look at quickly might be the level of apathy or representation Mittens has.

According to his own reported figures in the last election he got 5k+ votes, keeping things simple and being generous lets make this 6k.

According to CCP there are approx 745k active players. So assuming they are all even maxed out with 3 chars this means roughly (745k / 3) = 248k active accounts at least.

As such it means that the representation of active accounts based on the previous Mittani electorate at best is about:

(6 / 248) * 100 = 2.4 percent.

As such it is hardly a convincing figure that he does in fact unequivocally represent the player interest, far from it.

You seem to be under the misinterpretation that the CSM does anything actually useful or impacts the game at all. They don't.

So I support Darius III if he'll troll the hell out of everyone. Because that is really the only thing that the CSM has done, create drama that we can laugh at.

Oh wait I got some statistics too since apparently that's what we do in this thread:

67% of people suffer from an irrational fear of gnomes
30% of people are afraid of gnomes for rational reasons

The other 3% are gnomes

Mittani isn't the King of Grief. King of spying in really ******* neato ways and using that to disband enemy alliances, certainly. A great leader, no doubt. But really, other than a Titan scam that fell in his lap and organizing an ice interdiction (the scale of which was impressive, but which was ultimately a very simple and straightforward grief) he hasn't really done anything notable for grief.

Dudes who have been contenders for that throne at some point have been Paul Clavet (rest in peace), Darius III and, humbly and only as a runner-up, myself. There are other's, obviously, but those are the first three that jump to mind.

A masterful plan that will surely bring down Mittens. Trust me, he lives and dies by what the C&P forum thinks about him.
