good PVP academy options?

Played a while ago, subscription lapsed, now I'm back and looking to learn some PVP.

What are the good options for a focused attempt at learning PVP? I know there are training corps like EVE-U and OUCH... What other names should I know? Which ones have people had good experience with? What about RVB? Do they teach well or just provide a ton of war targets?

Is this even a good way to learn PVP? Is it better to just find a corp that does PVP and is willing to train people ready to shuffle off their carebear costume?

I'm particularly interested in options that aren't super hard core... I can play focused, but my hours/week are somewhat limited. I'm looking first at "academies" because I don't know if I want to go full blown 0.0 or just get some skills for FW or small gangs in low sec, and it seems like joining an academy won't make me decide prematurely, while giving me universally useful skills.
