Mittens will get re-elected, no doubt about that. A mandate ? Maybe.
But eventhough people do not agree with Rivi, doesnt mean he wouldnt represent a portion of the playerbase.

A mix of views and idea's ensures that the CSM arent to focussed on a portion of the game.
Mittens and likeminded CSM members will, without a doubt, ensure that the FIS part of the game will see it's share of fixes, ballancing, expansions etc.
Other CSM members with different idea's can act as a catalyst for the smaller portions of the playerbase that would love to see other less urgent issue's get adressed aswell.

So CSM is there for pointing out problems and feebacking CCP on their efforts (according to Mittani) not do all the "how do we fix this?" thinking. That what CCP and the F&I forum and some valuable feedback from the playerbase does.

CSM is a connection between CCP and the playerbase becasue they can talk to the people face to face instead of trying to convey they points solely through the forum. So it is not that important what a CSM stands for. I find it FAR MORE HONEST by Mittani to say "well I do not know much about Incursions or Wormholes or whatever" [He knows alot about metagaming, running a successful alliance, HAVING FUN in a bad game etc] then to do what other candidates claim to have knowledge in fields where they don't have it.

How do I say it: "I have a strong opinion, but no freaking clue" And THAT is why there are other members in the CSM, thats why they should listen to us (and Mittens DOES listen and answer to his constituents [DRINK!]) and their fellow members. If Mittani has no idea about wormholes I do not think he will try to attention whore in that field but let the people who DO know things about it do the thinking.

CSM is a communicator [which purpose is not delivering blowjobs according to Riverini] and NOT a legislative body to pass laws on us or something.


If you REALLY think that the change CSM 6 brought to Eve since Incarnagate is bad... -> DO NOT VOTE FOR MITTENS! He does not want your votes!

But if you think Ships > Pants, he may be the right man for you!
