So CCP Next time you go to ban Botters before FF don't wait till FF and do it this way

Right except they weren't attending as a normal person, they got tricked into coming on stage to be publicly humiliated which was planned from the beginning.

I'll agree that botters should be cast back into the fires of Mt Doom from whence they came, but maintaining a sense of decorum while avoiding getting your ass sued is also pretty important.

but they ARE attending as a normal person they just got called on stage at FF they just don't know why well at least


till CCP Sreegs comes floating down from the rafters dressed like a badass and smites them each with his ban hammer.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

I have an epic image in my mind. They come on stage and stand forward and the characters faces are shown. They make it out to be a big prize event and then suddenly the lights to to red and BANNNNNED is shown. People on the stage scream and cuss while everyone points and laughs while a CCP dev says "Congratulations! Due to your botting you have just won a 14 day ban complete with the characters locked to your account never to be transferred again!"

However. As awesome as that sounds I doubt the lawyers would let them do that. If any of those bans were in error defamation can be claimed.

that's how many games operate and rightfully so

in ace online if you cheated in any way the gm would force you to respawn in a system where he just put a brick or something on his shoot button ( which 1hit every time) and you would be farmed for hours, days, weeks until he got bored and banned u.
