There is nothing 'Ninja' about 'salvagers'

I have done true ninja salvaging where they never knew what happened to the wrecks or who took them.


"Ninja" salvaging is given to a type of salvaging that has nothing discrete about it.

If I wanted to steal a beer from a neighbor, he would never know he lost a beer. But if I did it "EvE Online" style, I would just walk into his house and grab a beer, and act like it's perfectly normal, claiming that there was no lock on the fridge nor any personal names actually imprinted on the bottles. Meanwhile, I have 10 friends waiting outside the door to pummel the neigbor if he tries to stop me.

Could I really call that "ninja"?

Real ninja salvaging and loot stealing takes much more work and a little longer, but is more exciting. It's a true cat and mouse game where you don't want to be seen taking the cheese. I would recommend it as good practice for anybody looking forward to lowsec/0.0 exploration.

I have had it happen while mining - I have a hauler with salvaging to clean up the dead rats. I had someone slip in and steal a wreck from me the other day. If he had asked I would have let him have all my wrecks - I salvage mostly to leave a clean belt. If you want my wrecks, just ask. But i suppose he was hoping I was a noob who would sick my drones on him... lol.

Reminds me of a trick I played on my ex wife once when we played WOW. Figured out a way to kill myself using some amulate too much. So we deuled and when I died when she hit me, I totally got on her case. You can't kill someone in a duel in WoW of course but my trick worked and I had hours of fun from holding a fake grudge about it.

confirming i was on my way to collect my own bounty
confirming 210M is chickenfeed.
confirming Skipper typed his retort from a pikey caravan in a WalMart parking lot leeching off Starbucks WIFI on a stolen laptop
confirming i exploited another 2.8B this week from the "month old character" i was "bragging about" in corp.
denying any of this had to do with getting ribbed for getting podded, assuming that is just silly.
