How do you generate custom links in chat/evemail? I know you can drag an item in, or use the auto-link...but how would you go about typing it directly when it's just faster or you want to change the link text?

I've tried the less url=xxxxx greater ink tex less/url greater syntax and it just shows exactly that in the window. Is there some control character or something? How do the Jita scammers do it?

That must be incorrect since I see it being done all the time. Currently. Just hop into Jita for 5 minutes.

Right.... How? All I can manage to do is delete the text and type something else there. These Jita bots spew it out every 5 seconds...they must be doing something else.

Nope that's it

You can review previous posts by holding Ctrl and using the arrow keys.

With this you can instantly repost a customized link AND without making yourself look silly with the obvious copy/pasta "[06:45:15] Xercodo > " stuck to the front of it.

Link contract, use marker to step "inside" the link add text, remove the final character.

Eg contract is linked as: Civilian Mining Laser

Step into it with the marker (using left arrow) and type like: Civilian Mining Laser x1000r
Remove the last r and you will have a full link displaying Item x1000
