I think he means...

5 = Tired of your spamming which a normal response is about a Thread Lock. That would be Phantom's line

For the last week my corp and I have been experiencing a weird problem in our little pocket of space. I submitted a petition about it on February 29 at 21:22 ET. As it was not a grave and immediate problem (and not a stuck petition), I was completely shocked and dismayed to see a response with a resolution to the problem today (March 1) at 00:22 ET. That was three hours.

Now, I don't know about you, but when I pay my monthly fee for the two accounts that I run, I expect to receive the customer service I pay for. This was not it. It was prompt, helpful, and (I daresay) friendly. That is simply not the quality of service I expect from CCP, and I am deeply disappointed and enraged. I did not even get a chance to send a second message on the petition venting my anger at someone who is just doing their job just to vent my frustration at my impotent real life! This is unfair, and it is detracting from my enjoyment of Eve, and that of all other players whose petitions are promptly answered.

So, shame on you GM Pyro and the rest of the GM team. Way to ruin Eve for your players.

I totally understand your anti-rage, but now that the GM's are mostly freed up from investigating 'bot reports', dumb crap like "Promt Customer Support" might be the new FOTM.

Personally I think it sucks Blink

received a response and satisfactory resolution to my 3 day old Petition yesterday. very happy with the resolution as it was fair and the problem was simple.

that said, the OP has a bit of sarcasm in it so not sure if troll.

Pity that I can't totally share your joy, as GM Pyro couldn't have been more helpful to me when (s)he changed my name without any explanation whatsoever, and someone more informed (and senior) had to countermand that decision >:(

See, you're experiencing it too! CCP is just not living up to the standards that players have set out for it, nor giving us the service we paid money for. We paid for weeks-long petition waits and canned responses, and dammit that's what we should be getting. Not this prompt and useful stuff.

Why would I troll about such a serious issue?

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

It really amuses me how many people on the forums don't even read the OP before just posting a canned response. Why even post?

Necroing this thread just to let the OP know that his complaint has been heard and addressed. I have a six day old petition and not a sign that anyone has looked at it yet.

Anyone know what a typical response time to a petition would be? Apparently quick responses was an anomaly that has been rectified.

Oh I'm glad that got taken care of. Happy you're getting the service you're paying for.

More seriously, it depends on what sort of petition it is, how well you wrote it (details/tone/etc), the difficulty of resolution, and probably the alignment of Jupiter and its moons. "Stuck" petitions are answered very quickly, "payment" are usually answered quickly, "gameplay", "graphics" and other such things aren't usually answered that fast, and you're screwed if you're petitioning a ban at this time. In addition to depending on the priority of the categories, it may also be affected by how many other people are submitting the same kind of petitions. A lifeguard can't save a drowning person that screams for help if there are a hundred people complaining about how cold the water is at the same time.
