Getting into DED stuff

Hey,
Im relatively new to eve and was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of how to get into 5/10plexs etc. Also what ships do you guys use to do these...

go to lowsec. Scan, scan scan scan scanUgh
SUddenly ull get either a 5/10 sig right off tha bat or unranked which will escalate.Shocked
After failing about 3 or 4 escalations ull get 5/10 too.Twisted
Take a BS/HAC/T3/Command ship and do it. Collect this mighty true sansha radio M.Lol
Rinse and repeat Roll

I'm just going to link a couple things and you can do some homework and return with questions should you need to:

Chart to help understand combat sites

Exploration almanac

As you're a new player, the post above me really doesn't apply to you much. Stick to high sec for now, get a decent understanding of exploration and figure out what you want to train for.

Ignore static plexes (ones you can see on overview, 1/10s and 2/10s). They are heavily farmed and a waste of time.

Join the Exploration channel in-game.

scan scan scan like the man said, eventually you'll get lucky. t3's or command ships are the way to do it. if you get a escalation run it down. I picked up a pithi a mod last week and made 600m you just never know
