@CCP: Buying an HD stream Tickets for FF. All questions answered!

Would it be possible to petition for those of us that purchased the FF tickets ($125) but unable to attend and instead have it credit towards the HD Stream?


I am sorry, this is alot of manual work for our Web Department and I can not promise we can deliver on that. Those unlucky few that bought a ticket to FF but cant make it will at least get their in-game items and everyone can watch the stream for free. You would be missing out on the HD version but the free version is pretty decent.

Last year, I 'bought' the HD Stream for 1 Plex... I got 1 Male Quafe shirt, plus... 1 Female Quafe Shirt - then promptly sold both, for far far more than the Plex had cost...

This year, I also get a Ship? ...Nice - ka'ching.

Now if there were only some way to re-freeze my 2008 snowballls...

Can I leave a note that next years fan fest mention two ways to enjoy the fan fest via ticket or HD live stream ticket for a lesson learned to prevent players from buying a ticket just for the items if any of them did (at the cost of 4 plex seemingly much.)

It would probably help stop any of the confusion next year.

afair was the stream a flash video...so the chance to watch it on an iPad is not very high. Maybe ccp encodes it as MP4 this time.

I wonder if this will all be done through account management? I've never used PLEX in that way... do you just log on to your account management and somehow submit the PLEX? I'm assuming the PLEX needs to be in the station you are docked in... has anyone used an in-game PLEX in account management before?

Hi Gogela, here is a copy/paste from https://secure.eveonline.com/PLEX/

If you want to use a PLEX you already have in-game for services on the Account Management site, you will need to go in-game, right-click on the PLEX item and select “Reverse Redeem”. This will transfer the PLEX item back into the redeeming system, ready for use out of game. Don't worry, you can redeem and reverse redeem any PLEX as many times as you like.
