Now I know what you all are thinkin. "Great, another n00b who didnt do his homework" however I did do my home work this time! You see, I can play both LOTRO and WoW on my laptop just fine (and from what I've been able to find you have to have shader 3 on your computer) however when I try to play EVE I get the pop up of death, and with my desktop crashed at the moment I'm jonezin for my EVE Blink anyone got any ideas? Or have I done my homework wrong? thanks in advance!

Can you please give us a bit more info by posting your dxdiag of the machine that you are trying to run eve on. Cant help out much unless we get that info.

To run the DirectX diagnostics tool:

For Windows XP: Press 'Start' and select 'run'. Type dxdiag in the text field and Click "OK".
For Windows Vista/7: Press 'Start' and type dxdiag and hit enter.
When you do this, a window will pop up.

Click the "Save All Information" button, located in its lower right corner.
Once you have saved the file, you can open it and copy-paste the text here.

Sorry but your out of luck with playing eve on that laptop. The Intel GMA 950 graphics chips only supports software shader model 3 and hardware shader model 2.
