Hey

Ok so i started playing Eve about 3 weeks ago. My general Plan was to be able to fit a Drake for L3 Missions and maybe fly a Raven for L4 Missions.
After that i want to start pvping, because with the Drake/Raven i have a steady source of Incomg coming from L3/4's.

Now i got some Questions:

What do I need to skill to run L4 Missions in a Drake/Raven?
What to Crosstrain to for PvP? I was thinking about Minmatar but I dont really like the looks of the Minni Ships except for the Hurri.
I Love the looks of the Amarr BS's but then I have to train Lasers and Armor Tanking Stuff.

Right now I'm running L2's with my Drake because I dont have enough Standing for L3's.

Heres my Pilot:

I would be very thankful for any advice. Blink

Plan on doing pvp with the same group you pve with to start.

Blackbird can be a great ship to pvp in for a new pilot running caldari.
Drake can do well in pvp too when you can afford it.

You might want to look into the gurista ship line ((missle/drone)) or the sansha ship line ((lasers)) if you plan on cross training.
Both use shields.

Here's a good plan for the Drake. He also has a link to his Raven fit at the bottom of the Description.

I think training into a Tengu after the Drake would be better than going into the Raven. Yes, it's a more expensive ship, but it is a lot more versatile in the long run. I went Drake -> Raven and am just now finishing up skills for the Tengu and have regretted not getting it sooner. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying don't train for the Raven as you absolutely should as it's a great ship, I just think going for the Tengu beforehand is a better option.

Thanks for the Drake fit!

I think ill go for the Raven first and then maybe train for a Tengu, depends on how fast I can run L4's with a Raven. If a Tengu is much faster I'll train for the Tengu aswell.

What about the PvP thingy.. I know that I could stay Caldari for PvP but I dont really like missiles. I chose Caldari only for Mission Running to get some Cash.

For PvP Minmatar would be the better choice than Amarr I think, but looking at my Skillpoints I think it wouldnt be that much of a Problem to start Amarr Skills from 0?!

Thanks for the Help Ireland VonVicious and Klymer. Big smile
