It's been a while since new missions have been added. Could we possibly have some harder/longer/more fleshed out missions, like Dread Pirate Scarlet (my favorite one ever, it presents a decent challenge in any ship.) and The Anomaly (because it has great story to it.)? Missions don't make up the majority of my time, by far, in eve, but they are good fun when i do run them.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

No. This is sort of like saying, I'm getting tired of killing 20 boars in missions, so could you implement missions where I kill 20 bears instead. More missions shouldn't be added, until they come up with something more fitting a contemporary game, instead of the done-to-death kill all missions we have today. You could add them by the hundreds and contribute almost nothing of added value to the game.

Well that's just, like... your opinion, man.

Dread Pirate Scarlet is an interesting example as 90% of the mission is optional.

ignore first pocket completely (after the first run), shoot only Scarlet in the next pockets, never enter last pocket as Scarlet is almost always dead before you reach it.

Pop her on the third pocket gate and collect the +3 implant that drops.

I agree with Destination SkillQueue. The game needs more dynamic elements and far, far fewer static ones. If it was possible to build missions from a PC perspective instead of a NPC one it would be even better. And that is simply because I do not want the World of Warcraft Questing / Raiding mindset in EVE. I want it to become a true sandbox; like Pinocchio wanted to be a real boy.

But hey, that's the beauty of a forum. We can all raise our opinions in discussion, aye?

Counterpoint: Nothing in this game is more reminiscent of awful wow-raids than incursions, which are supposedly the brave new world of dynamic group pve.

Not saying missions are a shining star themselves, but hell if I trust some unknown way forward when the last attempt to right the ship ended up being a giant isk faucet.
