Where do you think EVE will be next winter?

I'd bet the major portion of EVE will still be in Iceland, since I just completed a transaction involving the sale of a few thousand cases of compasses that happened to have the "S" completely left off. Unfortunate, indeed, but you know Vikings.

More than likely there will be a lot of polish being done, such as various bug fixes, re-balancing and more enhanced graphics. All of this will be promoted in expansions as 'New' content which will be accepted by the majority of the player base.

The majority of game play activities will be player created content. This content will mainly be suicide ganking, WarDec griefing, can fliping, gate / station camping, contract / market / recruitment ISK scams, mission invasion, blob v one PvP, etc. All sub forum channels will be overpopulated with trolls hiding behind the anonymity of the internet while the rest of the community turns into bitter sarcastic members.


Oh wait, that's already happening.

Thanks for proving you're one of the trolls hiding behind the anonymity of the internet. You really should get back into your closet and get ahold of yourself since you have no killboard record whatsoever.

lol, what an asshat. I only used the word 'Griefing' once in that statement. Obviously you have no clue what my combat log contains, especially since there's 3 different player owned ship kills listed in it.

By the way, you fail at trolling as well as stating correct facts. I do both high and low sec missions and exploration.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

I think you give the forums too much credit. If they ever added a guest and member count, I would be surprised if forums saw more than 200 unique users at any given time.

As for where it will be, yep the same as yesterday, the same as tommorow. EVE is old and fragile. They won't do anything to turn it on its ear. It isn't so much who will quit as it's more of, will people take those extended breaks? Everyone knows now that 80 mill, 8 mill the blob trumps SP. Going and playing something else for 3 or 4 months isn't that big of an issue. I'm sure it hurts CCP though.

Well lets hope that DUST brings us obital bombardment ship (and features). It would be cool if the dust bunnies could fight over capturing a Titian; bit like taking keeps and castles in DAoC and WAR if you played those games.

I do hope that WiS gets effort put into it; it would be a shame that the haters in this game kill off what could be an epic element of the game. Other MMOs do manage to get a few hundred players running around the same shard, it is technically possible to get that damn station door open.
