Still thinking about trying your hand at null sec? Tired of high sec and running the same missions over and over? Getting sick of sucking planets dry?

That was me. Join OUCH to learn how to survive and to pvp in null long enough to enjoy the change in scenery. I joined up almost a year ago and I've never looked back. It's almost time for me to celebrate my 500th kill. Tempus fugit.

I guess answering that question is one reason for someone to join OUCH.

Otherwise, take advantage of summer break and give our classes a try. And, you won't need to worry about tuition increases, overpriced parking permits, and smelly classmates. Instead, you learn about surviving 0.0 and PvPing.

In eve you can't really win, there's so much to learn, so much to conquer, and so many pilots to fight, that it's simply impossible.

But if your eve life includes flying ships, joining OUCH and graduating with us, will make you a safer pilot, improve your playtime experience and maybe even change the way you played eve so far.
And when you put the skills we'll teach you to practice, you just might start thinking if the first scentence in this post is really correct Blink

This morning I was chased across 2 systems, and escaped from a dead end system with a bubble on the gate... and lived... admittedly with no shields :)

When OUCH went onto the top 10k sometime last year, that was pretty cool. Since then, our Battleclinic rank has been steadily rising, with joining the top 1000 corps coming up as our next milestone.

Alliance ranks go much much more slowly, but AWA just dropped into the top 200 alliances on Battleclinic. We're number 197 overall and number 88 for recent activity, which I think is over the last 7 days. Battleclinic kills AND losses are part of the ranking system.

Not bad for a bunch of guys bubble camping with newbies, who I might add, have to learn how to travel through Curse, one of the toughest regions in New Eden.

OUCH will show you the fun of flying in 0.0 and pvp and they also have a forum where you can learn all sorts of stuff like:

Basic Flying Rules for all pilots:

1. Try to stay in the middle of the air.

2. Do not go near the edges of it.

3. The edges of the air can be recognised by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there.

They train you in many aspects and eventually you can join in on their pvp ops and learn the need for TS dicipline, some of the ol'boys in OUCH have millitary background and it shows....

FC: "Student 1, proceed to stand 69"
Student 1: "Yes, Sir, Nose in or Nose out?"

b) educate your scrubs on how to deal with NPC 0.0 daily life shenanigans like undock blapping faggotry, scanning, cloaky camps/BO dropping etc.
Damn, do an alliance-wide effort to get everyone through the epic arc safely if you have to. Members will learn the neighbourhood, the AWA permacamp of 8-g, the ****** shithole that is K-Q and stuff like that. Also ~350mil for like 2 hours worth of running around in a frig is your first Abaddon + fit right there.

this was posted by n0th on the kugutsman site. its a 401k thread. I guess k-q is a shithole because we wont engage their 20 man munnin and 8 scimitar fleet with a 1/3 less people. but we still kill them repeatedly. Oh well i guess 0.0 is a little different than the 30 man jita station camp. LIFE IS SO UNFAIR.

anyway, ferk em.
