With the come of the new system of Pi with the extractor, we received a serious blow to versatility. meaning that the old version of extractor, was that each extractor take care of one resource. Ok now there is a one manager over 10 extractor. This is very rigid system.
What if on the same patch there are 2 resources like 2 types of metals and i want to extract only with 5 of those heads base metals and with the rest 5 noble metals.
Solution

  • each head should be able to select what resource can you mine there.

  • reduce the nr of possible heads to a mini version of the actual one 5 lets say. When you took the decision 10 heads was based on the fact that what those 10 heads extracted was enough for the rest of basic industry (that fitted on the grid) to go on for lets say 24 h.

anyone elce has a thought on this?
I had it when I've seen in excel that my planets are extracting at a rate of 30 k per h as a medium, and remaning 9 basic industry did not do nothing for lets say 40 % of the time because they did not have input. so then those 9 basic industy will become 4 basic and 5 advance. So then why cant i put on now (previously posible ) 5 heads on noble rest of 5 on basic ?
Fly safe.

1. this should really be in Features and Ideas.

2. You want to turn PI back into a terribad click-fest. This is bad.

3. If you aren't extracting enough of a material, set up more planets pulling that material, buy from the market, or ask your corp/alliance mates.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

2. PI is still a mind-breaking activity. A cheap and profitable one if the situation is good but still.
