InterSun Freelance (or "ISF") was created as a solution for those unable to commit to demanding 24/7 schedules and alarm-clock style play. Got a RL? That's totally cool with us because so do we!

ISF aims to maximise the variety of activities that our members can engage in. However, whatever we turn our hand to, we usually have a beer or a glass of red in the other! Our relaxed, friendly and supportive culture stems from our core values:

(These core values are known as ISF's "3 Fs")

╠► Relaxed, friendly and fun group
╠► No probs if you have limited game time
╠► Regular group ops (but not compulsory)
╠► Corp is active in 0.0, Empire & WHs
╠► 0.0 alliance & coalition (NPC 0.0)
╠► NBSI (Not Blue Shoot It)
╠► PvP (Daily)
╠► PvE (Missions / Ratting / WHs / Incursion)
╠► Indy (Mining / Manufacturing / PI / Trade)
╠► Very active corp forums and community
╠► No time demands
╠► No skill point minimum
╠► No membership fees
╠► Very low 2% tax
╠► Corp mainly 30s - 50s age group
╚► Glass in hand & ready to fly!

► OLDER?
Our members are usually in their 30s to 50s. Being "older" is definitely not a bad thing in ISF. In ISF you'll be hanging with people who played "Elite" on ancient PCs with less memory than your phone!

► YOUR TIME ZONE?
ISF is active around the clock. Players from all TZ are welcome. We're English speaking (but English does not need to be your first language and we're very understanding when it comes to spelling, grammer and accents).

► BUSY REAL LIFE?
We understand that real life comes first and we ask that you do too. Most of our members have a demanding job, wife and/or children. We have a casual play style that's fun and not serious or stressful. We understand that any member may need to step away from the keyboard with little or no notice. We also understand that you may not be able to use voice-comms (e.g. a sleeping baby/spouse nearby or medically deaf). Note: We have methods to help deaf folks follow FC voice commands.

► FREELANCE FREEDOM?
ISF offers an alternative to the demanding alarm-clock style of play favoured by 24/7 power-gamers. ISF is laid back and we come and go as RL permits. None of us treat EVE as a job.

We have minimal rules: no empire ganking, no can-flipping, no scamming, no smack-talk/epeen.

These are NOT mandatory:
1. corp ops (although we encourage participation);
2. voice-comms (unless in a PvP fleet and not deaf);
3. minimum play hours per day, week or month.

In ISF, all Members can decide for themselves whether they want to play in 0.0, Empire and/or WHs. All of these areas are important to ISF. We do not bar people from certain areas or to make them play in any particular areas.

► WHAT DOES ISF EXPECT FROM YOU?
It's all about the attitude and fit of the RL person.
* Be chilled, keep your epeen in your pants and understand that real life may trump EVE now and then
* Enjoy a laugh (we get enough angsty sooky-la-las from our kids)
* Muck in with your corpies when you can
* Basic game knowledge (i.e. pls do tutorials first or have equivalent experience)
* Respect ISF's 3F corp culture
* At least 30 days ingame experience please
* No alts in other player-run corps (exceptions made case-by-case)
* Customized API check

Sounds like my kind of group. I'm still assessing what kind of gameplay I desire out of Eve with the limited time I have, but I'll keep InterSun on the short list!

If you are interested and think we might be a good fit...
Visit INTERSUN channel ingame and try to hook up with a recruiter for a chat.
We keep the channel sparse for ease of use so please don't take the channel as a guide to corp activity.

I am looking for a new Corp and you seem exactly what I am looking for, but your forum says recruiting is currently on hold.

Is this a kind of 'war-dec' 'backlog' etc temporary status or a more permanent 'we aren't looking for anyone at this time' thing?

This is a temporary hold on recruitment. Our recruiters are all swamped by RL and we're taking the opportunity to consolidate our corp. This gives new and old members a chance to get to know one another to begin working together and build a sense of camaraderie.

We plan to re-open recruitment in a few weeks. Thank you for your patience. Please keep an eye on the scrolling message on our forums, and a bump to this recruitment thread for when we start recruiting again.

We have a presence in Empire in Amarr, Gallente and Caldari space (not so much in Minmatar space). Our WH ops are right now relaunching after a short break (due to RL). Our 0.0 activity is limited to NPC 0.0 since RL does not give us enough time to play the SOV 0.0 game.

We don't bump this recruitment thread often because of the flood of applications our recruiters then have to process. We do however have room for more like minded people who want to put RL First. All timezones welcome.

Our members range from their 20s to 70s (mostly 30s to 50s) but we all have busy RLs so when we get online we just want to play the game and have fun without angst. In ISF being "older" is definitely not a bad thing. Younger or older, it's the fit with our corp culture that's important. Smile

Sounds like a perfect fit for me. Before i start the application process could I just ask approximately how many players are active on average between 1800 and 2300 eve time? Thank you
