Average Jaspet, Omber, and Kernite site.

Located in Caldari Highsec, under 5 Jumps from Jita.

Site condition: Untouched.

I posted this thread as soon as I found the site. Anyone interested?

You have very near zero chance of getting ISK for it, and none in this forum. Might want to try the industry section instead. Asking in local might work better though.

Wow. Jaspet and Omber.

I could trip over that in the local belts where I live.

How may I drug you with drugs?

With the price of trit these days you probably couldn't even give that away.

Twice I tried to give a Grav site away to people in the same system.

No takers.

Your bookmark is worth 0.00 Isk.

That's one of the frustrating things about this game. No matter what you do, no matter where you go...nothing but crap. Just take the crap, convert it to isk to buy something good.

I understand rare things need to be rare but there should at least be a non-zero chance of something good so it happens every once in awhile.

{spoken by someone who, for the first time ran a radar site in a WH and recieved 3 items worth...18,000 isk. Getting tired of nothing but crap no matter where you go}

The big problem is that low-sec ores are worth like 5-10% more than high sec ones. So high sec grav sites aren't worth the hassle of bringing your mining ship into a new system for. Also the ones that are worth that extra premium are things like hemorphite. Omber is literally the worst asteroid in game to mine in ISK/hr terms.

Time and effort wise, unless you want a nice little piece of space to jetcan mine in... somewhat better safety compared to public mining, grav sites are worthless. You know what else is worthless? Hisec mag sites. (probably even lowsec mags too, but might want to double check that.)

The two things you want to keep an eye out for (almost always yourself or a trusted friend) is radar and unknowns. If you do hisec exploring, you will want to train hacking asap. Just get it up to level 3, fit out a ship that can frag frigates and has midslots to spare for the hacking modules, and while there is the possibility that you'll find crap, more often than not I find myself finding some very snazzy random items worth a few millions.

Radar, however, isn't quite so common, so you can expect to go a few days just finding worthless mag and small omber deposits.

Deadspace sites, meanwhile, can range from easy and not really worthwhile, to pretty deadly, even in hisec. (So... many lasers) Usually the tougher ones can come with some pretty nice drops.

And then there's wormholes... wormholes are... different.

Worthless ? Tell that to the 210,000 units of Nocxium from YESTERDAY ALONE in only 4 hours of mining 3 sites (ignore the Omber laying about).

Mag Sites worthless ? Tell that to the 15,000,000 ISK Intact Armor Plates I found yesterday....both of them.

You must either be tryinng to scare noobs off from these sites so they are 'all for yourself', or you lack the Exploration skills to resolve the really weak (and BETTER) signaled sites.

Or.......as far as the Mag sites go, you may be stumbling onto ones that have been found already and cleaned of all goodies...with just the crap like Contaminated Nanites left....in order to keep the site from de-spawning. This happens more often than not.

I know, right? Level 1 missions worthless? Tell that to the 612 LP in Science and Trade institute I got from ONLY LEVEL 1 MISSIONS 5 years ago.

You get on this gravy train's tracks you're just going to get run over! Yo.
