Player Features and Ideas Discussion

With the announcement of the power of 2, 3 months down the road that person might be frustrated with having to play on 2 accounts at the same time and want to play just one, could there be a feature (Paid or not) to allow players whom have two accounts ability to merge them into a single entity.

Of course this idea would need adjusting but limiting it to accounts that have not changed hands, have been played from start up right until day of merging or have to be in a single account due to character transfers, this can be a issue for capsulteers having multiple players to run from.

Instead I propose this idea to whom cannot afford to pay for 2 accounts each month, and find it a pain to only have 1 character training at any given time.

For example.

I have Arcterus 1 and Arcterus 2

I made another entity called Arcterus Dethemus, I want this character to be specialized in Amarr Ship combat, but my other characters have Galente and Caldari spec, instead I want merge the two characters wiping they're current skill lists, and having a large pool of experience to be allocated to my choosing.

Of course this would be limited to 2 times per account per year to keep balancing effort.

Or on the flip side.

I have a character spec'd for mining and spent a good year in skilling but find mining a boresom lifestyle and want to pvp but dont want to wait a GREAT deal of time training pvp skills or pve skills for mission running... this would be a great system to add in to eve online... and I hope it does cause I really wouldnt want to respec the ol' fashioned way... teching a years time is a pain.

Your such a rude individual, when you were born im sure you were not destined to be a troll on EVE Forum so why start, if you get off by making such horrid comments like this then you need help my friend, this is simply irrefutable evidence that you are a broken person in need of someone to disciple you cause that kind of misbehavior is not acceptable in any form or location.

And as to your advise to learn Search section, not every suggestion is the same and if enough people request it eventually it will be implemented, just like if people requested that you be Banned for eternity and then some, it will happen.. so dont push your luck.

Acterus it have been discused here many times. Learn to use search function. It falls into same category as sp redistribution, sp buying, etc etc. It would be extreemly abusable.

Same as with other threads that wants faster SP - most of players dont want it. From time to time there is loonely player that will whine on forum. Also nobody likes theses ideas. Most of them didnt received over 2 likes and I suspect that was just self liking.

If you want to have power of 3 chars, train them and specialize. It is much better to have specialized alts than to have one all knowing char. Also as was already mentioned, you can sell your's chars and buy one with skills you want if you arent satisfied with your's choices.

EVE skill system is one of two reasons why I play this game (the other one is that you can loose everything if you are stupid or unlucky). if CCP wil change it I wouldnt be the only one to leave.
