hi , i am having an issue with the character login screen ( after loggin in through the title screen ) none of the portraits will load up and when clicking on any to log in , there is no response . i waited roughly 15 minutes , came back in half an hour and the same thing is happening , this is the case for both my accounts , this has only been happening since i logged in this morning , wondering if it is an issue with the latest client side patch ?

I have not heard about this before... if this continues to be a problem, could you please run the log server and see if you get any errors when this happen, and also file a bug report?

Hi!

Your internet is having a slow day, that's all.

To demonstrate: when i use 3g, the character selection screen loads in a few seconds. On EDGE, it takes 10 minutes plus, if it loads at all.

Call your ISP and have a tanty, it's always fun and they usually deserve it.

Try clearing your cache files and see if that would correct this issue.

1) Start the EVE client (do not login yet).
2) Press ESC or click on the Settings button and go to the 'Reset Settings' tab and click on the 'Clear' button for 'Clear all cache files'
3) The client will prompt you to restart the client, click yes on that prompt
4) Once the client has been restarted login normally and see if that fixes the issue.

Clearing just the cache files, should not reset your client settings.

Yeah your right ! though the browser side was working fine at the time , the client was fine again after a few hours :)

Yes i forgot about doing that ... but i did it anyway later , it didnt seem to be the cause of the problem , but it should help :)
