So tech 3s have spiked recently since Cruicble but subsystems didnt really budge.
No over the past week or two, subsystems have spiked by about 50-100% in price.

Is this manipulation on a large scale, or is there some sort of change recently that im not aware of?

Current war between goons and raiden and other large skrimishes around.
Lots of T3 fleets being blown up recently.

A large scale industrialist who had 20% market share for subsystem production and hundreds of billions of ISK invested in the subsystem market recently stopped producing subsystems and moved on to other things.
