Using the Intergalactic Summit for one of the stated intended purposes. PIE are now -0.1

Hello.

One of the stated reasons for the Intergalactic Summit to exist, is to be a place where Diplomatic Statements can be stated.

Shenanigans.

I have decided, that due to continual provocation by their members, that the Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris alliance, currently consisting of PIE Inc. corporation, is to be set to negative standings.

Accordingly, they are now -0.1 and will be Frowned At and met with Disapproving Looks.

Should PIE wish to discuss this sort of thing, which I had wished to do so, but encountered nobody when looking at the stated avenue of communication for this sort of thing, that is to say, the communication channel supposedly for use when talking at PIE Inc., then the PIE captains may consult either myself or Synthia, or indeed almost any of the CTCS.

Down with This Sort of Thing.

Otherwise, things will only get worse, unless PIE abandon their life of heresy and embrace Gods Love as is Written in Scripture in Several Places, such as the Apocryphon, where It Is Written that All may be Chosen.

Indeed, some PIE pilots have already done this, casting aside their False Beliefs to become True Believers.

I usually prefer to put a little more effort in when I make a post on the IGS, but I think this line from the OP sums up my thoughts rather succinctly.

A harsh yet effective change in diplomatic standings. Some might call it draconian, but I like to think of these measures as necessary evils in such dark times.

I for one hope PIE Inc. is paying attention and is able to rectify this situation before these frowns and disapproving looks become scowls and unflattering remarks shared in hushed whispers.

Due to PIE's disrespect towards a certain hot little cyborg, Heathen Legion and its affiliate alliance Morbid Atrocity will be downgrading standings toward PIE from +10 to +6.

If PIE feels this action is being taken in error, they are encouraged to contact our diplomat through appropriate channels where Tom can show them how he diplomacizes.

Thank you and have a safe and quality day.

In a reversal of the spirit of this diplomatic downturn I'm personally setting PIE Inc up to +0.1 for their ability to take parody songs in their honour as good sports.

This increase in standings will likely lead to singing about their glorious Corporation and it's heroes in venus and com channels throughout New Eden, possibly while drunk.

However with regret I cannot promise a sequel, nor a re-write of current lyrics.

Unfortunately, due to the continual and unchecked decay of the Praetorians, the otherwise tiny Crimson Church of Whatever might well be able to put the hurt on PIE if they set their minds and wallets to it.

It's a disgraceful state of affairs.

Don't worry I personally set negative standings against just you. Mainly for your insufferable manner of speaking in the Promised Land in local in the presence of the Master himself, but also partially due to your utter lack of fashion sense....

For some reason, I find the fact that these two posts came one after the other (and in that order) to be highly amusing.
