EVE becoming FORD?

car buffs always debate whether Ford stood for First on Race Day, or Fix or repair daily.

The lumbering moves from a fun multifaceted space based MMO with few real issues has turned EVE into a daily anticipation of an update or client fix . Perhaps it is the complexity of the game, the dev teams or incredibly weak QA. Perhaps it is a growing expectation from players that dev time be spent on actual content hence the loud voices in forums when the UI is glitchy and others cant even log in. Perhaps it is time for CCP to decide which FORD they want to be. Get focused, put out winning content and stop alpha testing changes in the live game.

I vote that it becomes the Ford with a need eat peanuts, drink three pints, put a fish in his ear, and stare a Vogon in the face while he reads him poetry until he is tossed out an airlock and lives. HTFU personified!

Oh this kind of thread again.

We are already long way beyond that point.

Btw, good old Henry Ford was pretty awesome, because he knew that paying his employees enough money
to buy the products they make makes him happy, his employees happy and the economy happy.

Sure he was, but even my grandparents (who are/were wonderful people generally speaking -- esp. my saintly grandmother who is still alive at 96) were (a bit) anti-semitic and racist.

Lolwut? Eve was so much better when you were forced to do POS warfare for sov, or when battleships whizzed past at interceptor speeds, or when CCP accidentally your boot.ini.

Stop complaining about CCP using a modern development cycle and fixing issues as soon as possible. Software is not a car.
