So I blasted him.

This is a Link-http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=15299437

A vicious and unrelenting criminal decided to steal from my can and beg for me to shoot him. I obliged after much consideration and found that I blew up his **** in only 2 hits. He had faction and deadspace fits. I looted his stuff and sold it for about 5-6 mil.

When people ask what I have accomplished in eve I will now say proudly that I am a PVP master.

I see you also seem to have the background load fail problem. I'm starting to like it as the background seems to take attention away from me

Congratulations on killing a frigate in a ship designed specifically for that.

I don't have that problem, I just turned off the lights in my quarters and shined my desk lamp on me for dramatic emphasis.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw the ship used was a cat.

There was a thread a while back on the old forums regarding the use of Rifters for pirating and it said that Rifter pilots would be better advised to stay away from destroyers and the Thorax. I think it also mentioned another cruiser - maybe a Stabber but I drink too much and my memory sucks.

Stabbers are pretty lol and die easily to frigates. It would be referring to the Rupture which is commonly fitted with small guns and a 1600 plate and eats frigs for breakfast.

Would you care to be helpful and elaborate on your opinion. Simply calling people idiots does not help anyone.

Stabbers DO die easily to frigs, and can't as easily be fitted to counter frigs in the same way a Rupture or Bellicose could and the 1600 plate Rupture is a well known and effective setup.

Stupid fit stabbers die to frigates. Well fit stabbers eat frigates. The stabber has one distinct advantage over the ruppie, and that is speed. An armour stabber rocks 2km/s which is enough to outpace ab frigs, and keep up with the slower AFs. it pumps out 239 deeps easily while having a medium and small nuet + web + scram to shut down a frig and vaourise it. Dual 180mm AC's should have little trouble tracking frigs as well, and you will get more stupid frig pilots wishing to engage a stabber over a ruppie.

Saying a stabber is not the OPTIMAL tool for the job, but the blanket statement that stabbers are lol and die to frigs is misleading and stupid.

I said pretty lol, not outright lol but I can see how you would interpret that, apologies for being so blase.

Thanks for fleshing out your rebuttal. In my experience nearly every stabber I have come across has been shield fit (and I apprecate im temporarily talking on an alt here due to um... behaviour so feel free to ignore me) .

As long as I had a nos I'd still feel confident engaging that setup to be honest but it would indeed be a closer fight. At the very least I'd still engage that far more readily than a Rupture.
