My dear

I am Super J0sh, an Accounts Manager with BANK OF AMARR in Kor-Azor.The issue I am presenting to you is a case of one of my late customer, anational of Caldari who died in a Badger crash leaving an unclaimed treasury bills (Bonds) with my bank.

In YC111, my late customer invested intreasury bill bonds here in my Bank in Kor-Azor totaling 25.3 billion Caldari Isks ($25,300,000,000.00) which was due to be collected in YC113 with accrued dividends. On my yearly appraisal of my customers at the turn of every year, I discovered that this fixed deposit remained overdue for retrieval. I had put up series of mails and bank notifications to him which were sent Back uncollected.

According to the banking law, the money will be Bequeathed to the government if it remains unclaimed with the next couple months.
I am in a position to attach your name to these funds. Your cooperation and discretion are most appreciated.

Kindly send your reply enclosing your

transfer fee of 100 million isks along Name, Sex, and Solar System.

Never seen this one before, anyone else heard of it ? Looks a bit more indepth than your everyday scam! Although i do worry that this is being spammed to every new account that logs on in that area (i've had it from the same guy on 3 new accounts)

I did this with my main too, just wondering if its a common one or another old one that everyones seen?!

Another question, the rules on sending mail like this.... I mean i know about the CSPA but is sending this kinda mail "legal" with CCP, like all other scams... I guess you could claim it was Role Play.... sorta...

@ Griznatch I'm not sure what kinda relevance your post has to this thread..... Maybe you'd care to explain?

its totally legal with ccp, sandbox stuff. they can always turn off messaging from randoms if they dont want spam mail....i mean i get spam mail in my rl mailbox and i dont see any fbi kicking some spam a**. as far as age, this is the first ive seen written like this, but its still an old tactic, however with the advertising to new players about plexs its a very good idea to mass spam this to them. like telling a toddler to jump off a cliff, u think they know better lol? ahhh i just made myself feel bad...now im over it.

That mail you posted is painfully similar to common IRL scams, which are know to come from nigeria. Google "nigerian 419 scam" for more info.

I used to have a clever sig but I lost it.

Last time I was in nigeria it was hollowed out gourds (spelling?) and animal sinews, but that was back in 2005 so they may have improved the technology since then.

I used to have a clever sig but I lost it.

i find it amusing that someone named Josh, the weakest, wimpiest known male name ever given to someone, is trying to extort ISK.

So you're saying the most manly name possible, ACE McFACE, will get many the ISK from said scam?
