Atm Im learning how to pvp and doing level 4s with two characters. Started reading about the pirate epic arc missions and thought they would be cool to do soon, Im training to fly AFs atm so when Im done with that I will give it a shot.

Would it be viable and worth it isk-wise to do the pirate epic arcs with two characters at the same time? I'm mostly thinking it would double the isk I get. But I'm not sure how these epic arc missions work, will both characters get the same missions in the same system if I do them parallel to each other? So is it worth doing it this way if I have two accounts?

They are likely to spawn in the same system, but it isn't guaranteed. If you really want to run them easily, check out Sub's great little guides/service:

As long as she has them seeded and isn't stuck in a wormhole again.

One potential advantage of doing both characters simultaneously is that scouting with a cloaky ship may save you a lot of isk in losses. Doubling up on the damage in the final mission can help as well. For the angel arc, you can accomplish the pirate epic arc, except for the last mission, in a stealth bomber. I have no experience with the gurista arc. I do not believe that doing them simultaneously will predictably send both characters to the same target system, but the entire angel arc takes place in a relatively small area of curse, no more than 5-6 jumps in any one direction from the starter system.

The final angel epic arc reward is a cynabal blueprint copy (1 run). The earlier reward is a domination target painter. That's an easy 200 million plus in isk. Plus the epic arc missions pay much better than regular missions. So yes, I would recommend running both characters through the epic arc simultaneously. It pays quite well. Having the extra damage, or the extra scout, or just a pair of cloaked eyes on a station undock can be valuable. It hurts to lose the cynabal blueprint upon undocking to go back to high sec, but that's eve.

Short answer =

Hek yes!! Absolutely.

Long answer =

I've run the pirate epic arcs quite a few times now and, except for my first ever attempt, invariably run them dual-box two-ship ... with both (or sometimes three) characters accessing the missions but only one doing the DPS-stuff. The second toon acts as covops scout leading the way to mission systems and usually sitting near the site entry gate while the DPS-guy does their stuff inside.

If you are running the arc missions with both characters, do be aware that the missions do not always end up in the same system. The algorithm seems to be something along the lines of "within x-jumps of agent system" and sometimes it's something like "within x-jumps of agent system, in the direction of y-system" and all except just a few pirate arc missions occur in any of a number of systems.

BTW you do not **need** an assault frigate. I've completed both in an autocannon rifter and suspect the tankier caldari / Amarr equivalents would also be fine. It's way quicker and safer in a wolf, but is eminently doable in a basic t1 frigate.

Of course, it's just not sensible to even try without first purchasing our really-very-good support packages. Big smile
