Good evening, MD. Today I present you with my offering of meagre 500 million ISK. This bond will serve as a base for my future ventures, and I hope that we can cover all relevant topics in this thread. This is merely a discussion as it is, meaning that this bond is not open for public. I am using this thread to evaluate the chances of me getting such a bond, and after it I'll open the bond for investors.



I am Chevalleis. I have been interested in trading since I was just a puppy flying in my velator. I started out by trading npc goods between stations in my iteron. Unfortunately all the good deals were in lowsec, and after losing my cargo the fifth time I decided to change strategy. I set my base in Oursulaert, trading 75mm railguns and doing missions in my vexor that had two guns and not much else. I had just lost my last cargoload along with my itty, meaning that I had 12m, not much more than I started out with. I spent a good few weeks there, growing my capital from 12m to a whopping 13m. Obviously I wasn't going to get to be a trillionaire that way, so in my desperation I turned my gaze to the forums, and tada. All kinds of people were offering 50m just so that I made them a script of a trailer or came up with a name for their alliance. I acquired a mindblowing 70m this way, which felt like a birthday present. Now I of course was amazingly rich and I decided to hit the big waters - Jita. I nested there and O wao, I actually made money. I had never even dreamed about 200k profit from a single 1m item! I had about 100m when my corp moved to w-space, and I had to leave my biz. But I got back from there, and started trading again. And so, by tirelessly 0.01 isking everyone to death I managed to get to around 400+m. I tried manufacturing at one point, but it was very hard to do without an alt and I couldn't effectively trade at the same time. Eventually I found out about interhub trading and started carrying stuff between Amarr and Jita. I got to around 500m this way. Then my computer died, and other RL issues popped up so I had to quit. But now I am back, with a bond.

I will be doing Jita 4-4 trading, and, if I spot good opportunities maybe some lesser hub trading. I will not participate in speculation during this bond. So in essence, I will be 0.01 isking everyone to death.
But Chevalleis, how can I be sure you don't run away with my money?
Kethas Protagonist once said something suitable to the situation. I don't remember what though. But seriously, 500m? Let's be honest here, It would be much more profitable for me to grow my bonds to 20b and THEN run away with your money. (Not saying that I'm doing this ofc.) I generally like the MD community and I feel that it would serve me better not to scam in the long run.

15 interest on your investment, which equals to 575m if you cover the whole bond. Also I'll notify you on my future loans and you'll get the chance to invest first.
Sounds good Chevalleis, but how long do you intend to keep my money?
1,5 months. Now, before you run away screaming, let me explain. As this is my first bond, I'd like everything to be princess-perfect, and that means starting carefully. That also explains why my bond isn't 1b or 2. Consider this a test if you will, to figuyre out the markets.
What if your trading isn't successful and you lose my money, Chevalleis?
I have enough of my own capital that I can cover all your possible losses should an astronomically unlikely event as this happen.
