2,000,000,000 ISK Goonswarm Federation scam – a call to war

Dear fellow pod pilots

Have you ever wanted to go to war with a powerful alliance that is evil and has no integrity?

Well, it’s your lucky day.

Goonswarm Federation have a well organised scam that involves a website setup for the purpose of scamming.

If your alliance is in a coalition with Goonswarm Federation, you have to ask yourself, “Can I really trust them?”. The answer is “No”, and here is the evidence.

Just when you’re on the brink of being accepted into Goonswarm, they ask for a 2,000,000,000 ISK deposit. (The recruitment officer, Sordeo Regius, says it’s refundable in a month unless you are involved with spying activity.)

Out of interest, here is a screenshot of the scammer – once he has scammed you, you are blocked from contacting him:

Personally, I am not annoyed by Goonswarm. Until now, Eve was getting rather boring – it felt as if every alliance was the same.

Every alliance seemed equally good and evil.

However, Goonswarm Federation are making a point of being the ‘bad guys’ of Eve.

Surely, every pod pilot who has a moral conscience, and has always wanted to fight the good fight against evil should rally against Goonswarm.

It is time to pod Goonswarm.

Sure, they have shiny pods! Which they have to pay for somehow, you know.

Also, if you're so gullible as to fall for the most well-known and longest-running scam in EvE, please just send me the money instead. I'll find some not-quite-as-evil use for it, like suiciding ships into random people in highsec.

I should write a response about how the OP is an idiot for falling for one of the best documented scams; to the point their recruitment page states if you are asked for money - IT IS A SCAM. But it is Sunday here. I'm enjoying a few cold beers. And honestly, I'd rather just raise a bottle and toast the Goons for catching another person who cannot read or research and is just so eager to jump on the bandwagon they wet themselves in anticipation.

So here's to you Goons.

So you fell for a scam and you're blaming Goonswarm? I trust this turns into a good long post where the OP blames everyone but himself for his own stupidity.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

Every alliance in the game with anywhere near the capacity to be a threat to us has already tried and failed. BoB is currently attempting it again for the fourth time. What make you think you stand any chance? Goonswarm isn't a Vanguard Incursion site.

Goons never scam; I don't understand why there are so many threads posted involving these terrible character assassination attacks on our reputable alliance.

On a completely different note, as a licensed and accredited Goonswarm Recruitment Officer for Bat Country, I can assist you with the process of applying to Goonswarm should you choose to do so. Simply contact me, and we can go from there!

Well, i would like to point out that the bank thing was really big, but one time scam, but goons have been running this, and there is innumerable warnings on the matter, and yet idiots fall for it and ***** on the forums once a week about it

Also this guy sounds kinda like captain 1000$ in Plesk to destroy test guy....
