Ok so this is basically a reverse corp recruitment ad with the player advertising for a corp instead of the corp advertising for players? I like this general idea. I don't think seeing exact skills should be part of it though, I think seeing certificates the pilot holds would be a better way of doing it.

Additionally I think that this should be a permanent thing. As in the player doesn't fill it in every time he advertises, but instead should be persistent (and accessible for change at any point and therefore could be outdated if the player forgets or chooses not to update it) and "attachable" to a corp application.

I don't think it will remove the desire for API checks, as people will still want to have a look at what sort of alts you have. A six-month-old character with a four-year-old alt is...suspicious. There's no good way to present that information in game without utterly breaking immersion AND violating what I consider to be private information.

Which is why I think that certificates rather than skills is the way to go in all honesty. Also they could make the certificate section like the corp skills section where you have to "update with my skills" only in this case it would be "update with my certificates". I think the general idea of using a resume as a reverse corp advert is a great idea, and the ability to attach the resume to a corp application means you don't have to write out a corp application each time. What actually becomes part of the resume system is something else entirely. Hopefully they can make it something better than just a text box.

I think the certificate thing is a great idea. I wouldn't intend for this system to completely expose a toon, since piracy and spying is a part of the great sandbox called EVE, but at least some sort of implement to keep 'em honest would be nice. Thanks for the +1s. Dev commented a while ago, hope they're taking it seriously.
