Love or Hate it TBBT is a very popular show and considering that Eve is a learning mans game I think that CCP should see about getting a spot on it.

Imagine Sheldon and the gang playing Internet spaceships.

What would it do for trials.

Sick of seeing wow on the show, EVE is real people!

Blizzard already paid CBS for product placement for WOW.

if you paid them fat stacks of cash you *might* be able to get CBS have 1 actor wear a Fatal the Rabbit T-shirt once, for one scene.

CCP should try for the Simpsons instead. Most EVE players kind of remind me of Bart... or Ned Flanders.

Fill them with a horde of players who, whilst they had heard of EVE Online and possibly researched it, could only be convinced that it was worth trying when they saw it while sitting on their arse watching a non-interactive television programme with their tv-dinners?

That'll go down well.

I predict an influx of "This game has PVP!" and "I was killed while mining!" and "I went back to the same belt and got killed again!" and "This game must be changed to have PvE only zones!" threads once that happens...

I'd say they should do a sketch about being scammed by Goonswarm after trying to join them but I don't think we should give free fame, hey goons, if you give me 1 billion ISK I'll put in a good word for you with this guy I know who works as an intern at the show. ;D

Blizzard already beat CCP to it with TBBT. One of their episodes mentions World of Warcraft shortly. Of course it's not to the extent of the Southpark WoW episode, but still.

AMC's The Walking Dead's facebook already got paid off to market Mass Effect 3 (today in fact)

TV Shows doing videogame presentation is nothing new but very powerful.
