Twisted

Sick and antagonistic as this may be, it is EVE. so, I told ya so..

EVE was born in sarcasm, cliche and dark humour. Much as Airplane built a genre, EVE fulfills a genre. Spoofing Speculative Fiction. The Broker is a parody of The Mule, or Muad Dib. The Jove are the ancient precursor race, the Zennsuni Wanderers, the Ancients, ever more advanced than the "consumer's", as Myyona suggested..Blink

I disagree that any revelations by CCP inherently invalidate anyone's particular flavor of RP, however. A contention I have had with the RP community around here for years. If anything, it opens a floodgate of possibilities. Think on the scene in "Hitchhiker's Guide", where Arthur and the gang meet the High Priest of the Sneeze Cult. That gives you some indication of the technology we deal with in EVE. It's a big cluster, who knows what is out there.. Lotsa room for some truly far out characters. And, with great power comes great responsibility, but, unfortunately, humans are prone to outrageous failings of character, even the godlike ones.

Arrogance and complacency in a leader is a weakness that that infects the entire force, eventually. Capsuleer's have ever been a tool to the real forces that guide humanity's destiny. As were the Jove..

Nothing is truly original, anymore..

All science is applied, eventually..

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then, and it's a poor sort of memory that only works backward.

you know. that kinda falls in line to what i think now days about these so called scientists we have now days

where it only works as there science tells them it dose, how do they know they haven't done something wrong or over looked something.

once you start saying something is an absolute truth you just start looking like the crazy religion people.

Science is never about stating the absolute truth. If it were, science would have been "done" a long time ago.

The statement is prophetic, as well.. It encompasses all eventual human endeavor, quite a broad stroke.. Blink
