So

I have inivted two people in the past year and selected the 30 days free time, this is what i get in responce

28 Feb 2011 ********@hotmail.co.uk
Your friend upgraded on 13 Mar 2011 but your account was inactive.
30 Days Game Time

Not awarded because my account was inactive for 1 day whilst i waited to get paid

LAST NIGHT

14 Feb 2012 looplol@msn.com
Your friend upgraded on 14 Feb 2012 using a non-eligible payment.
30 Days Game Time

Because he paid using PAYPAL - i am not elegeible for the reward? Nice, real nice, so thats 60 days owed to me that i will never get.

So why should i spend hours trying to get my mates on here when i get shafted everytime?

To play with your friends ..?

But seriously, did you petition your inactive account. If you only lapsed for one day I am sure they would have shown good will if you asked nicely. The other one I don't understand.

Perhaps your mates read some of your recent posts and decided you didn't want to play this game so wouldn't miss the extra game time.

If you dislike the game so much, as seems to be the case from your previous posts, why are you inviting friends? I had the same thing happen to me, but I'm happy to have someone new join the game and offer them some help, I'm not bitching about not getting my free game time.

If that's the only reason you invited them, and not to let them experience the game, then maybe you should have read up on the buddy invites first and asked them not to use PayPal.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

These are the current terms and condition (see bold part). I would petition it. And yes, be nice this time.

Quote:
Terms and Conditions
Each paying account (trial accounts do not qualify for this promotion) can send Buddy Program invites.
Each paying account is restricted to 10 Buddy Program invites per month.
Only accounts created through this emailed invite are valid for this offer. Be sure your friends use the invite to create their account in order for you to earn your game time when they subscribe to EVE Online
Eligible subscription activations can be funded by Credit/Debit cards, PayPal, WebMoney Transfer, paysafecard, ETC, PLEX and iDeal
Payments not eligible for this offer: Direct Debit, CD Keys, including CD Keys purchased or received from non-CCP sources and online stores such as, but not limited to: Steam Store, Direct2Drive, Gamers Gate, Impulse Driven.
You will need to have a paying account once your friend purchases an EVE Online subscription to receive your reward of a PLEX or 30 days.
Please note that once your Buddy purchases and EVE Online subscription, your reward may take up to 24hours to be applied.
CCP reserves the right to restrict eligibility for some rewards according to certain criteria, including but not limited to minimum account age or minimum client log-in time of the inviter.
Scamming in any way or form through buddy invites is prohibited and violations of this rule will be handled accordingly by EVE Online Customer Support. Action will be taken against players who violate this rule and sanctions may include warnings or bans of the offending accounts.

You are silly, but still. Paypall is now once again an accept form of payment for those in the buddy system, it was a new post a few days ago. So you can petition that.

And if you want to get rewards, you should have an active account, it aint that hard.

jesus, do you ever make a post without something negative about eve or ccp in it? as long as you put it in the correctt section you should hear back relatively soon.

The number of posts whining about long response times has gone down recently, so I would guess "not that long" if you put it in the billing petitions like an intelligent person.

Kidding.

Hope the petitions turn out positively.

CCP has been extremely fast with resolving any petition that I sent them , so there is really nothing to bash there.

And next time just select PLEX as a reward, much easier to see hen you got the reward, and you have the option to sell it if you have plenty gametime already.

I think this thread could use some more 'bitter' and 'mad'.

Afterall, how can you get what you want without a temper tantrum?

Heh, I was invited to play Eve by a RL friend (my boss, as a matter of fact). The problem is he was a massive carebear and I like to shoot people in the face. We parted ways early on and he still didn't have anyone to play with. :P

Oh the simple joys of not petitioning and taking your complaints to the fourums to get burned and possibly banned or super burned by the GMs.
