Needs more Large Veldspar and other empire ores asteroids in null sec.

It is really hard for T1 ships production to be done in Null sec. The difficulty is trying to collect empire based ore to make ships in null sec, resulting in miners having to go to high sec to buy compressed ore ie 1400mn guns to be jumped out to deep null sec to make ships locally.

The asteroids are too small – it is frustrating loosing cycles on asteroids because you only get 1 to 2 full cycles on a single strip miner.
They are too few in an Asteroid belt.

For a miner we are reduced to mine ABCs to sell and support Empires Ship building programs. For small Care bear Mining Corps we become less efficient in mining minerals for ship production than if we were in empire.

Proposed Solutions.
Make null sec Empire ore based asteroids larger in null sec belts.
Allow customizable Ore Prospecting array to find Grave sites that produce only empire ores. Replace ABC with VSP – CCP would be Praised if the Spod rock was Veldspar rock
Put Easy to scan down Grav sites in Systems – may make Scanning ships annoyed.
New Carrier Based Mining ship with fighter sized mining drones that are limited to only mining Empire based ore. Allowing 1 carrier to cherry pick only the empire ore out of 1 belt by its self
