There's thousands of these threads in the history of EvE-Foruming, I'm sure, but hell, here's another one.

Which ship holds that special place in your bloodthirsty or industrious mind?

Mine would be the Arbitrator. I've had a handful, and I always keep 2-3 on hand. I also have a dozen fits for everything, because it can do everything relatively well.

1600mm Small Neutron Vexor.

People who fly them know why.

Sounds like some sort of Frigate-mulching device.

Rifter. It's effective and you can pack about 35 in a carrier.

More then that with Hammers and Void you can put out 440 DPS, 550 with 2 Hev, 2 Med and 1 Light. You still have room for 5 Bonused Warriors and a 40k EHP tank.

Taranis, because there's nothing like coming out of a dogfight with 2% structure left Cool

Republic Fleet Firetail.

Does not have a tangible role.
Fast but much less than an otherwise comparable inty
Paper tank
Subpar DPS for a faction frig
Horrible greenish color

But god I love it.

Myrmidon. Fit for shields and gank, brick and bait... dual-rep, triple-rep... the Myrm can do it all!

True... she'll never be as nimble as the Hurricane... ganky as the Harbinger... or tanky as the Drake... but dammit, she's got drones and doesn't care what turrets she uses! She's going to ruin SOMEONE'S day!!!

**** You I have a Capboosted Nano Laser Shield Myrm and whatever you say next isn't going to change the fact that this is gonna hurt.

Rupture for sure.

The damn ship is cursed, I always manage to lose it within 1-2 days due to lag, drowsiness or being drunk.

EVE is what happens when the rule of law does not apply and Darwinism is allowed to run freely.

It's all carried in the suitcase, I'm guessing?

Probably the Ishkur for me. I've got a nice little shield-tanked Ishkur fit that I spent a very long time exploring in. Good times.

I have a handful... Rook, Merlin, Cynabal, Tengu, Gila, Slicer.

Oh, and the Orca obviously.

I'm back!

More Myrm love: my first L4 experiences were like watching a Yorkshire terrier chew through a pack of wolves, one little nibble at a time.

For me it has to be the Myrm or Vexor.

Vexor because I had my first real success in PvP with it (small neutron fit). Lots of kills and one epic win over a Taranis, Curse and Tempest (killed the Curse and Taranis before legging it from the 'pest with a sliver of structure in 0.0).

Myrmidon because for some reason I remember it as a huge deal when I first got one - I think I'd been saving up for ages and ages. I was so proud of that damn thing, and I continue to use them because they're so fantastically versatile.

This one time, I like, totally did some stuff.
