Strange Energy is a US timezone corporation with insomniacal tendencies operating under the banner of Gentleman’s Agreement. We formally invite the pilots of New Eden to join our illustrious organization and share our battles, schemes, and mischief.

Formerly Cobalt Dragon Exploration Company, the corporation was initially founded to explore the unknown reaches of wormhole space. When those challenges became routine we looked to null security space and joined the alliance Gentleman’s Agreement as one of its first members; their selection of fine cigars and quality spirits was irresistible. The corporation refocused to 0.0 PvP during the conquest of Fountain and the first establishment of alliance sovereignty.

We have about twenty five active players and are looking to expand our ranks. We are searching for ten dapper gentlemen (ladies are equally welcome) with any level of experience provided that they have a sense of style and class; swank hats are a bonus. Our philosophy is that activity, actions, and demeanor are vastly more important than skillpoints, wealth, or killboard statistics. Skill and experience will come with time and guidance but a good attitude will not.

PvP Activity: Combat is our primary concern and everyone is expected to participate in organized PvP. Unlike many alliances, however, we never have mandatory fleets.
External Comms: All members must be active on our instant message system whenever possible and on our voice comms whenever engaged in PvP.
Composure: We want members who are enjoyable company and are eager to learn from the victories, losses and wisdom of all involved.

At this point one might think, “Clearly these fine folks are the right and proper choice for an upstanding individual such as myself; where do I sign?” We ask those so inclined to drop by our in-game public channel “SRNE” with haste! And for those yet undecided, perhaps you will be swayed by several of the benefits provided by our corporation.

Secure Space: Our alliance holds sovereignty in several constellations. We gained it through force of arms and actively defend it from all manner of scoundrels, rogues, and knaves.
Reimbursement: Any properly fit ship lost on a strategic fleet or organized roam is reimbursed. A gentleman’s pride may be wounded, but never his coin purse!
Solid logistics: We have supply lines from Empire to our estate and from there to our current theater of operations. We take great pride in our ability to project power: GENTS recently deployed across the galaxy to Cache in less than 48 hours and returned successfully within a week. A gentleman can always depend on his fellows for assistance.
Regular deployments: A gentleman cannot spend all of his time lazing around the mansion. Our alliance single-handedly forced the collapse of IEGEX in Vale. Alongside the CFC we’ve recently driven White Noise from their home in Branch and are actively fighting the dastardly members of Raiden.
Small roams: Between hunting foxes, quail, and the residents of Cobalt Edge, there is always activity awaiting an idle gentleman.
Corp jump fuel: Jump fuel is provided pilots for any non-personal capital ship use. Anyone jumping to a fight, moving assets, or assisting with logistics travels for free. The good natured actions of a gentleman should never impact his wallet.
