The price indices - not as good as a nice QEN, not seen since 2010, but nevertheless interesting and occasionally even useful.

It started looking a bit ropey when October's indices went awol, normal service resumed with November but now it seems December has gone walkabout and January's are kinda due too.

Be nice to have them back, or failing that at least a "we've killed it", rather than being another feature that just withers and dies unloved and unattended.

Still holding out for the return of QEN mind...

I could have sworn they were becoming an annual even instead of quarterly.

Annual was sort of hinted along with a commitment to continuing and expanding additional info but I guess times they change.

Is this blog a replacement for the QEN?

We will change the format of the QEN but this devblog and the data that comes along with it is an addition to other economic information available to the players. This is a part of a larger plan to give more data directly to players so that they can do their own analysis. And yes, this will continue in the future.

We have not published QENs for 2010 and will most likely not publish them in the previous format but rather moving the Economic Newsletters to more of an annual report. The frequency of the publication is though still being discussed.
