Hi,

I didn't find a way to share Planet installation with member of my corp.

I'm CEO and try to share with my Director.

Did I miss something ?

You didn't miss anything, unlike Pos setups which are always corp assets, PI setups are Player done, so you can't share them with a corp unfortunately Sad

Indeed, It would be really cool if corporation members could opt to "donate" their pi setups to the corporation, and allowing a role in the corp to update them and do all the logistics of transferring the goods and hauling.

That way I could do PI on all my alts in my personal Corporation, and handle all the pi setups from a single character.

CCP keeps doing this Wrong.

POSes are corporate assets (cannot have personal one without a personal corp)
PI facilities are personal assets (cannot have corp one, cannot use corp wallets, have to always use the same char for moving stuff about) except... customs offices are again corp assets.

Logical system would obviously allow you to designate POSes and PI facilities as your personal or as a corp asset. I can see various sov structures obviously restricted as corp/alliance only but there really is no reason why POSes and PI facilities (including customs offices) could not be either-or depending on how you deploy/assign them.

But that would require doing it right when implementing them. No, I'm not holding my breath.

Ha thats a good one. Just don't forget that even if you have access to 100 planets it won't do you any good. Your character is limited by his skills and can only operate 6 Planets max. Is same as having 100 POS Labs. Can only do 11 research jobs.

actually, it makes sense -- only corporate entities are recognised by CONCORD (and by extension, the factions) as being capable of anchoring structures in orbit around moons and planets.

yeah, it would be "easier" to be able to move stuff around in the customs offices with corp roles ... but that kind of breaks the "work with other people" thing that CCP thinks is "a good thing".

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
