If they ship is on TQ, and was dropped from a ship in a wreck. Finders keepers!!!
CCP should give it back to them and allow them to sell it to whoever. They can't use it right? Nobody can.
CCP messed up and shouldn't handle it this way.

Let them keep it...

If players can't use or keep an item like that, what was the CCP Dern doing with it in the cargohold in the first place?

Devs are players in corps and alliances just like everyone else. Well, not really like everyone else...I mean...none of em would ever use superior in-game knowledge and dev programs to get a leg up or help friends/corps/alliances out, would they? Naw.

Meh, the Jove came by and demanded their technology back. I think I saw that as the plot of a movie once.

As far as the kill goes, how often do the dev's get ganked? I would think this is akin to someone downing an actual UFO with a BB-gun in the back yard. Well done Earthling.

A shame you couldn't keep the enigma, merely as a momento, of course (since players can't board dev ships anyways AFAIK).

Plus Entity would probably pay you an arm and a leg for it.

Should have been allowed to keep it. CCP needs to learn to not fly what they can't afford to lose. Blink

Congrats guys. Fantastic kill.

Hmm that dev ship looks like a big robot bug I once saw in a drone mission, except drone sized.

I would be nervous if a dev had kill rights on me though.

Brilliant kill - 'gratz on finding it! The odds of that must've been, what, one in a million?

CCP removing ships from the game and giving compensation? Now they have no excuse simply to delete 99 in every 100 supercaps and give the owners compensation, while changing the build stats to 3000 times more expensive than they are now.

Im with those who say it should be able to be kept and traded as a wall ornament. Seeing as it cant be flown anyway. And yeah at 50bil Id be asking for at LEAST 50bil in something as compensation.

If it wasnt API verified Id say yeah right but seeing as it is wow, intense that is TRULY once in a lifetime event right there.Twisted

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.
