Is there a way to view other peoples skill training or is it all api based?

you will need an API from that person...

or figure out their username/password

nah was just curious thats all to see if there was a profile kind of area that showed what they had trained or were training, that was open to viewing bit like the data supplied by killboards only training information
bit like a players skill tree in W*W

It's possible to view their skill info if they've posted it to a site like eveboard, but you can't see that info without them making it available.

Yep, most easy way to check someone skills is too search them on EVEboard.com, a lot of pilots have their own profile on it and it usually means you can see their skills

Also certificates give you an idea of what they can do if the certs are public
