Is it possible to store vessel into Orca while under attack?

I know it was possible some time ago, but it was considered a bug/exploit to store a ship into orcas maintenance bay while under attack. I was looking for an answer whether it's still possible but can't find any.
So is it possible to "save" a ship by storing it into Orca's bay?

Has been recently reported to be possible.

Pretty sure Heretic Army are still doing it in and around Amamake.

Yes its possible. No its not considered a bug/exploit.

It is pretty lame though.

Support a fix for MWD/Cloak Warp and I'll support a fix for Orca faggotry.

Why should I be against risk free gate camping if risk free travel exists?

Put up a proposal and I'll look at it.

I got no problem with getting ganked, happens to us all. Being aggressed and having somewhere safe to go when the gank goes pear-shaped, mmm. Not right, not right at all.

I'm not saying cloakers in low-sec is right either - annoyed the hell out of me, but its not the same. You'll always have people who don't want a fight, but the Orca crap just spoils fights. So not the same.

Well i just tested it:
  • with 'A' char attacked 'B' char (in 0.5 sec)
  • 'B' tried to store the ship in 'C's Orca: '(question) Are you sure you wish to eject from your ship and store it in the Orca?
  • but got this message: (notify) You cannot store your ship as you are currently a criminal on the run from Concord or are trying to escape player retribution.

So it doesn't work (at least in hi-sec) due to weird EVE flagging (why got 'B' flagged - he didn't even defend himself from 'A').

Support a fix for people whom cry when they watch a cloaky Drake warp away from their insta lock gate camps..

If you trigger a CONCORD response then you must PAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!

Pretty sure it's a petitionable exploit if you do find a way not to die in the fire. I seem to recall there being something like that around the time black ops came out when people figured out they could aggress with a cyno already lit in low sec, gank and jump out before CONCORD killed them.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

Dude, you missreaded - i was trying to "hide" the char which was being attacked (B), not the one attacking (A).
I was just testing if one could save a ship against sucide gangers - which (at least as I tested it) he could not.

Wasn't that "fixed" for hisec only? So no more Orca docking in hi while aggressed, but the old mechanics in low + null..?
