Unstable FPS running multiple clients?

So i tend to run multiple clients, i also got two screen, so i run the main on screen one, and the others characters on screen two.

The issue is, the main screen with my main character is always rock solid at 60 FPS, but the second screen with the other characters acts weird from time to time, i might have stable 60 FPS on those character a few min, but suddenly it drops to 30-40 for a few secs/min and then it goes back to 60 FPS.

So to me, i feel that the computer have no problem with running the clients at 60 FPS, but for some weird reasons the characters on screen two get unstable FPS from time to time.

Anyone else noticed this? Something that can be done?

Edit: I run my clients in fixed window mode, also noticed that if i got the client active on my main screen, as well as one of the characters active on my second screen, i have 60FPS at both, but if i minimize the character on the main screen, the fps on the second screen goes right down to 30-40, and seems to stay that way until i maximize the character on the main screen again.

Think i've found a temporary solution, turning off transparent glass in windows 7 seems to let the client on screen two get 60 FPS, when the client on the main screen is minimized.
