So if someone wants to gank some logi (oni or guardian) sitting idle at some planet what do you S&M peeps suggest i use? I'd like to keep it cheap as possible but not opposed to spending a bit more on t2 guns or such. Can fly Minny & Gal up to BS.
Thanks for your help
cheers.

As long as it's alone you could use just about anything. A guardian especially isn't likely to have any self-repping power, and neither will have any offensive capabilities worthy of the name.

But of course, it could always be bait.

edit: Offer not valid where CONCORD operates.

I assume you're talking about high-sec. My Guardian and Oneiros both have around 60k EHP. That tends to be on the high end for logi. Find something that does that much damage before Concord arrives. Also, make sure you minimize your transversal as they have incredibly small sigs.

I don't always post on the forums, but when I do, I post with my main.

I'm more concerned about making them explode before concord gets me. So would a take a talos/tornado w/t1 guns and dmg mods and go to town?

Yes, in hisec. I'm hoping to just be able to warp in on my optimal and catch him sleeping. I am under the assumption that this is a particular loud mouth station campers neutral RR.
That's quite the EHP. I guess i could try and get a scan on him to see what he's packin to get a better idea of what i'd need.

was really hoping to be lazy and have someone help me out with a fit that i can throw together when i am off work.

That's assuming a full low rack of tank, and armor links. To be fair, I've seen Guardians with a full low rack of cap mods. Those will have around 13k EHP if memory serves. YMMV

Here's a silly question. If the guy just has one neutral logi, why not just kill it / jam it / neut it / damp it / force it to dock when it comes to rep?

I'm not involved in any sort of combat/war with this particular person. I just want to see his tears in local :)

Mmm... Tears...
Good luck. That tiny whiney little signature radius could cause a problem though...

If he's AFKing at a planet and she drops in, sig radius won't matter with that 0 transversal . Twisted

Ah, true that. However, what if the logi isn't AFK and you don't kill it with one volley. If it starts moving whilst you're trying to get a second volley off (and before Concord get there)... Ouch

If you can dictate warp in location to a stationary logi why not slap some webs (and a scram) on your favourite talos gank mobile and see what happens?

I know for a fact that the Guardian and Scimitar use their [relatively] low signature radius as a form of tank... especially so with Minmitar Command bonuses in effect.

I'd personally recommend a Target Painter (or three) to light up the logi like a christmas tree.

I believeI can dictate warp in. The last two times i looked he was sitting at a 0 on a planet and didn't move when someone stopped in on grid with him. He just sat there half arsed aligned to station. So I really don't think i'll have a problem getting in at optimal.

Well i guess i was hoping for some fitting advice. So you think a talos, t1 guns, void, rack of dmg mods, w/ couple webs will do the trick?

It would be close, IMO, depending on his fit.
