I couldn't agree more! They were suppose to be these things that you would be LUCKY to ever see in the game, now every joe-blow has one.

the commentary about titans/super caps has me confused, i know more than a few INDIVIDUALS who can personally fund titans, most of which never step foot into nullsec, and with proper patience ANYONE can do so as well. proper utilization of market and industry can net(per account), up to 300m/day production cycle(which is my minimum profit margin scaled to runnin 10 lines), the logistics of supporting that scale of production(3-4 freighter loads minimum and much jita day-trading), as well as the isk required to finance the BPOS/mats are a bit out of range for the AVERAGE gamer(3b/account to run 1 day at max capacity plus approximately 5b in BPOS), but back to the point of patience, with proper patience and given enough time, ANY individual can acquire the resources to produce a titan. leaving only the requirement of sov in a stable system to produce the ship itself, which at that point, i would assume itd be easier to contract it out to a super cap supplier rather than try to build it on your own.

would you put a cap on the dedicated gamers who spend their time to get them? or more practically, the corporations who pool assets of THOUSANDS of players?

a titan is only what? approximately 80-90b? 90b at 300m/day would take less than 1 year for a dedicated INDIVIDUAL to run industry enough to finance a titan, or the dedicated Incursion farmers, or multi-box miners. factor 100 individuals, itd take more time to BUILD the thing than to finance it. (i have aspirations to self destruct all 4 racial titans at once some day)

i FIRMLY support an individuals right to own titans and use titans however they see fit, ESPECIALLY if it leads to explosions.

(all manufacturing values are approximated, based on what i produce currently, scaled up to 10 joblines)

*edit*
if i recall correctly arent there FW titans as well sitting in space for those who simply wish to SEE a titan? and how long have they been out now? few years now? its about time we see them on the norm. and i did the math on the PL titan loss last weekend, i got approximately 3k USD value? if you got it, no point to having it be a hangar queen because OBVIOUSLY you can get another one unlike some of the unique limited run hulls(state raven, federate mega, guardian vexor). best way to get rid of them is through fiery explosions, so the trick isnt to make them rarer, but the opposite, make them more common, easier to access by 'the little guys' rather than only allowing the major power blocs to own them. if a titan ran 5b rather than 80b id field them like it was the cool thing to do, and i wouldnt feel bad about losing them if i knocked out even a couple caps in the process. but as things stand i will continue saving to self destruct them

I expect better results with the same people, since CCP wil be listening now, and not be having Kroner signs in their eyes.
