as for your war dec issues.. and recruitment. I think when applying to join to a corp that is at war one should get a pop up saying

this corpoeration is at war with the followign corps and or alliances. do you wish to continue?

otherwise i am for your empire war dec changes.

I also think that is an excellent idea, and goes along naturally with the changes I already listed. Nobody would like being stuck in a corp because they weren't aware that it was going to be in a war. The UI for finding out who is at war with whom is cumbersome, and it takes upward of thirty seconds to list a corporation's wars even if you do it all the time. +1 for this suggestion, and I would absolutely support something like this for a final draft.

Project Nemesis was my first war dec, during my first few weeks in Eve. I hated them back then, but now being an older and wiser pilot I appreciate what they did for me. It was definitely a trial by fire.

Also, they mega-trolled my terrible former CEO EthanPow, for which I am forever grateful.

Definitely have my support.

Thank you so much, I actually gave you an ovation right here at my desk. That is absolutely what I seek to accomplish with my gameplay in EVE. Long ago when I wasn't sure if I wanted to destroy other peoples' stuff all day, this is the thought process that led me to deciding for it anyway. EVE is a game that we play because it's fun, and if you are frustrated at dying so much, a real EVE player should be able to take their experiences as a trial-by-fire, learn from their mistakes, and get back on their feet to succeed as they were never able to before.

We are the challenge that makes you learn, the hardship that can strengthen you, the harsh and alcoholic kung-fu master of EVE. Many of our students drop out or fail to learn the lesson, but hearing that some of them do warms my heart.

What can I do to change that? I honestly want to know. Screw politics, what are you looking for in a CSM?

Always nice to see someone sticking up for high-sec pvp, instead of those 'elite' 0.0 pvp'ers. Also be good to have someone on CSM that a) has long experience of the game b) isn't involved with any vested interests in getting ccp's attention in a certain direction.

+1 for the consolidation agenda

This is why Widders will make a great member of the CSM. So many of the current CSM candidates seem to want to do it out of ego or political games, and while their platforms have been tailored around what people in game claim to want, after reading many of their posts, its clear that they don't understand game mechanics well enough to realize what this game needs.

You can vote for a CSM candidate who will promise you the EVE you think you want to play and things they can never deliver on because they're outside of the CSM's scope, or you can vote for someone who will give you a better and more playable EVE.

CCP advertises with "EVE is real". This is real - real life politics. Just go ahead and ask a local politician what ACTA is for example. I don't proclaim myself allknowing of all content and implications a political career (how big or small it is) entail or the votes they cast - but sometimes it seems they have no idea.

I for my part am sure, back on topic here, that the OP has clear idea of those. I thusly fully endorse this product/service.
+1 vote for Iam Widdershins...

It's not a "campaign," and any smearing was already done the moment you posted your agenda. You are simply asking a few people what they would like to have different in the game and cobbling them together in a list without stopping to think what the consequences would be for implementing these changes.

In any case, making POS reinforcement non-functional under any special circumstances is sheer folly, and I was only there to point out as such.

Thanks for the +1.

Only in your mind was the issue I was raising ever at all related to POS Reinforcement with strontium clathrates.

Perhaps you need to rewrite it again, then. It's still not at all clear that you are talking about anything other than disabling stront.

I think the simple solution is to make leaving an alliance at war take a full 48 hours, some 6 hours longer than a full strontium cycle. I agree that leaving alliances to save your hisec POS is a terrible mechanic, but I really think you should come up with some actual methods to accomplish the things you say you want to before people should take you seriously.

Considering that Iam Widdershins is daily in every pore of EVE PvP and has lot of time that he spends on EVE coupled with firm grasp on state of game mechanics; You got my vote m8.

Now can I have my rubber ducky back that you hold hostage?

No, I know how this works. You can have it back when the voting is over.

I'm not just concerned with the people that run from wars, either; I freely admit that we have also engaged in a fair amount of corp-hopping to kill war targets minutes or even a few handfuls of seconds after joining, entirely within the allowable mechanics currently vetted by CCP. As one is a direct response to the other, I think that both should be solved at once, providing a much more meaningful and rewarding experience for both sides.

Person. There is bunch of forum avatars in this sub-forum who promise stuff and talk a lot about their ideas/concerns/thoughts/political views. Who cares about that? Only them probably. Not CCP, thats for sure.

99% of the CSM candidates are some generic political slogam bullshit idiots. They promise **** and talk alot about what they think about some minor detail, that might not even come up during their term as CSM.

Look at Trebor's campaign last year. He posted entire mini biography of himself, all his experiences, projects he worked on, etc. That was some good stuff, even tho Wizardry suck balls and he is a douche. It still allowed to see him as a person. I liked that.

So stop being politicaly correct, and show me who you really are. There are no perfect people. We are all flawed. And if i vote for someone, i want to know their flaws, vices and virtues.

**** guys who have better ideas or can speak nice on forums. I want someone with character, and i want to see that character.
