I have a question,.. How is this possible?

Is titan tracking soo good? How can you fight blob titans other than supers?

There is nothing wrong with Titans. There is nothing wrong with tracking

Titan tracking is fine!

Oh I see I've been beaten to the joke with that Obi Van Kenoby pic. Carry on.

Edit. Just to say, those tengus appear to have carried regular sized ABs.

Something to consider is that there were multiple huginns in that fight. Just on the first kill alone there were 6 huginns webbing and painting the tengu. I'm sure he was essentially parked with a sig radius larger than a battleship. Anything NOT able to hit him would be questionable. Of course I don't fly titans and wasn't in that fight, so I might not know what I'm talking about. ;)

Maybe I'm in the minority with this view, but when 6 specialty ships use their role bonuses to lock someone down and bloom up his signature any ship should be able to hit him, including titans.

They were webbed and painted to hell and beyond. That is obvious to anyone who even glanced at the killmail. You sound like an alt of that butthurt -A- guy who keeps spamming "nerf [whatever killed us today]" threads Oops

There are multiple huginn's on those killmails.

With web range bonus you can get A huginn to 56km with Fed Navy webs and 40 km with Tech 2 Webs. You can get it to 86 km with a skirmish boosting loki for fed navy webs or 61 km with Tech 2.

With 2 webs you can reduce a target's speed by more than 80%. With 3, they're not going anywhere any time soon.

1 web - 40% speed
2 web - 16.8% speed
3 web - 11 % speed

Also the huginn has a bonus to Target Painters, with max skills a Tech 2 or Meta 4 Target Painter gives a 52% bonus to sig radius size. With a boosting proteus you can make those 70 %

Tengu - 150 m sig radius

1 painter - 255 m
2 painter - 411 m
3 painter - 578 m

With 3 webs and 3 painters on a tengu you get:

578m and 50-60 ms with a 10mn afterburner.

That tengu is in for some serious hurt, even a dread will be able to hit it if the tengu is 15-20 km away.

Therefore there is nothing wrong with Titan Tracking, its just Webs and painters doing their job.

We do the same thing in wormholes with lokis and dreads.

70 titans.... Who woulda thought someone would make titans their fleet doctrine rather than battleships like everyone else.

Shieldcats? Not good enough... Hellcats? Not good enough.... Well... how about a titan?

YES

titans used like battleships is, from what I've read about them, not their intended use. Take the guns off of them and just have them give insane leadership bonuses that are applied in a distance measured in lightyears rather than in system.

XL turrets belong on dreads not titans.

If anyone is curious why Metal Icarus made such a fiery post, we once camped the undock of his alliance's home system with a lone unsupported titan for lols (p sure we killed nothing with it) and his entire 35k man coalition was unable to muster together a gang to kill it so he is obviously peeved over being poor.

not rly anything you can bring versus it, because you would simply logg / cyno in more titans as there is nothing to counter that amount of titans.

Bring 70 ppl for 1 titan > cyno in more
Bring 200 ppl for 4 **** > Cyno in more
Bring 400 ppl for 20 ****> cyno in more
Bring 700 ppl for 40 **** > cyno in 50 mothership and shoot incapped pos mods with fighter bombers and totaly lagg out system

Current problem is that titans have too much ehp for their damage potential.

Yeah I'm mad... if I recall you dropped a titan on two hurricanes in a system nearby. It was funny. The victims were like

"DUDE WE JUST GOT A TITAN DROPPED US LOLOLOL WE DIED!!!" (yes you killed 2 canes with that titan)

They weren't even mad, even though they got into that rapier structure. They were just happy with seeing a titan used in anger... or in this case lulz.

Anyways, can someone educate me on how to kill PL's 70 titan fleet with huggin support? (kill the huggins then what?)

Well not being outnumbered 8:1 helps that was the second encounter. The first go round we lost something like a third of our tengus to that bombing run, that one was relatively square.

The issue in less PL themselves its the 300 meatshields they bring with them. Check any BR, you will rarely find PL alone. By themselves PL pretty much tries to hot drop you coming or going,.

You can ***** about Titan tracking and say "any moron can our run it" get off a gate when there are 25 Titans on the field, this is when you see them blapping frigates and pods...you can't dodge all of them when barely scratches hits for 7k.....target painters or no.

But meh, you win some you loose some.

This is whats wrong with games these days ... Make then balanced on the lowest possible dumbass and his ability to play.

Indeed this dumbs down games and makes them become boring much quicker.

If CCP want continue to be successful it must encourage sandbox and creative gameplay.

EVE was never meant for Casual gamers who want to play an easy game.

The day that EVE become casualized is the day that I quit, but not before going out in a bang.

Wow did I just see a member of -A- man up and say what they should have been saying all along, win some lose some, its not as if -A- has not been using Titans that way, Hurley in 77S comes to mind. PL have set up their fleets to win, just as you set up your Tengu fleet to win against RA and pets. You have to say that PL have setup a superb fleet and anyone who looks at intelligent play has to applaud them for it.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

Oddly enough, that is the position of the leadership too for the most part.

Don't believe all of the propaganda you read on *that board that shall not be named* and EvE24. PL Metagames like you wouldn't believe, spies, propaganda all of it all time.

Our FCs actually talk directly to the spies in coms lol

If by superb fleet you mean super numbers that only Raiden. can match....yeah its supurb.... local was over 1300 on that first engagement. They brought the hammer and we couldn't match the numbers.
