Hi,

I started playing eve again yesterday after about 8 months away. Was all playing fine last night no problems! Trying to log on today and its not having any of it! on the log on screen it says server status as "Unknown". if it type in run tracet and the ip address that all seems to go through ok. Has anyone got a fix for this issue?

Cheers

That message means that something is most likely preventing your computer from accessing the server. Have you tried having a look at your firewall to see if the rules have been updated?

When you patch, the signature for the exe changes. This means that the firewall might have the old signature for the client stored and does not let the new one through.

Check that the Windows firewall exception has been updated, as well as your own (better yet, turn that thing off if it's active, and just use your own -- one firewall is more than adequate for basic security purposes).

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....
