Ishkur Solo Fit

I would really like some input on a solo PVP Ishkur fit. I recently finished Gal 5 and have a few of these in hanger to try out.

My initial thought was something like this, but even with the CCC's I have very little cap to run the repper, so I am reconsidering how I need to fit it. I typically fly a Wolf, so this fit is not coming naturally to me.

Input would be appreciated. This very well may be a god awful fit, and I accept that - and yes, I prefer a kiting fit for this, if I want to brawl I will fly the Enyo.

Has the Ishtar been so overshadowed by the Enyo that no one is fitting them?

Any active Tanked PVP ship needs cap booster or one E-Neut will just kill it, put one in and take off the Tracking Disruptor IMO.

Then take off the CCC and put in tank/damage rigs to taste.

Yeah that one needs a cap booster instead of PvE rigs for sure, but I fly Ishkur with Ions, NOS and AB and the cap is ok.

Took a couple minutes to theorycraft this up. It should do what you appear to want to do, just a bit better. As others have said, for a kiting fit, the cap booster is pretty much required. Changed the rigs to damage rigs which results in a nice bump in damage.

The guns have been changed to 75mm for fitting, but this allowed the fitting of a T2 Disruptor that gives you a bit more kiting room. The 75's also have much better tracking, and with spike the range is more in line with your kiting range, which should be out to the edge of disruptor range. Should be nice for munching on short range AFs. Carry Faction Antimatter for anything that actually catches you and you should do rather nicely even up close.

Use an explosive hardener instead of the eanm.

A passive hardener would make the explosive hole smaller. An active would just murder the cap though. Wouldn't recommend a rig for that either. The ship is still fairly slow as is.

I think you might find that kiting in the Ishkur is a pain unless you are up against AB-only frigs. Granted this is probably what you're planning on but for a lot of other ship classes you are looking at taking more damage than you would like.

I've heard the Enyo is now the fotm Faillente AF. You mention you'd use it... I'd consider it given it's new level of dps.

415 dps. 475 dps o/l. Get tackle with a MWD pulse if needed then get in close at about 2k and sig tank with the AB on.

If you feel like picking up a CX-2 hardwire then it's 500dps.

Your original fit is going the right direction and is better then what has been posted to change to so far.

I'm going off you using 125mm rails that you understand how good this ship can be at kiting.

You won't use the scrambler much if you use lead. Yes I said lead. It is weak but can opt at 20km with no extra modules.
Still carry some hard hitting ammo incase something can get close to you.

I build it this way with for my ishkur:

Damage control II
Small armor repairer II
EANM II

Warp distruptor II
Catayzed cold gas I Arcjet Thrusters
Small Capacitor Booster II

3x 125mm rails 2 with caldari navy lead
Auto Targeting System I (( this thing is actually usefull on a drone ship that is dealing with small targets ))

Small Anti-explosive pump I
Small Auxilary Nano pump I

There it is a ship made to fly between 20-24k, put on point and hit for 78 dps with your hobs.
If they are in an ab fit you win.
If they are in mwd and you can't keep them off you use the ecm drones and get the hell out.
Also look into using 1 light armor rep bot instead of one of the ecm drones so you can rep drones between fights.

Fit is very tight you don't have 1 full pwr or cpu left so you will need max skills to fit this way.

This is real similar to the fit I run for long range ishkurs. I would however suggest cap booster 200s. With 400s if you pop it to early you waste a bit of it. 200s let you pop boosters while youre still above peak recharge without wasting any by overfilling your cap.

I used to have a clever sig but I lost it.

High:

- 3 x Light Ion Blaster II (Null S)
- 1 x 5W Infectious System Malfunction

Med:

- 1mn Afterburner II
- Small Capacitor Booster II (400 charges)
- Warp Scrambler II

Low:

- Small Armor Repairer II
- Damage Control II
- Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

5 x Hobgoblin II

Rigs:

- Small Anti-EM Pump I
- Small Anti-Explosive Pump I

With my current skills, it gives the following:

- 209 dps (Guns do 120 alone)
- Armor resistances are: 70.2 / 72.4 / 86.2 / 46.5
- Effective HP is 7.65k
- Sustained Armor tank is 57 HP
- Cap Stable @ 15.4%
- Speed is 727 m/s and not affected by warp scramblers, which is very important for a blasterboat!
- Price in the area of 40 mil - not too bad!

Thanks, tried that yesterday with minor modifications (pseudo to IFFA, J5b scram and T2 NOS), very nice indeed <3
