it is possible to kill 100mn tengu with t1/t2 ships... however u have to dual web neut it blob it ....

we killed two in last month and in both cases had some losses..... and in both cases pilots made quite serious tactical misstake.


Question is if u really have to nerf it as it is really expensive and sp demanding (like cynabals or machs for example) to properly fit and fly. Noob tengus will burn in flames if deployed in combat (and sometimes they do). Experienced pilot will cause havoc in many situations (like station gaming carrier), but there is allways some way to counter the ****.

BTW if they will increase sig radius of tengu to 250 >>> more dead tengus (if u really want nerf).

I think that for solo work is surprisingly worst loki (the most notorious booster of the universe).

Yeah, first time I met a 100mn tengu with booster was this guy. Props to him, he blew up my noctis because i was asleep at the wheel, I reshipped to a few combat ships (dual boxing) without understanding what the fit could do. I then lost the hurricane and got the drake out. Had him webbed twice, scrammed an neuted. Just couldn't get him slowed down... mental.

Not sure if its OP or of the ease of getting ISK to build it is.....

Now I know to avoid it when by myself :D

Well just to say that in olden days with 90% webs you still had issues of nano ships gliding out of web range on inertia.

All three fuel catalyst subsystem bonuses should be limited to 10mn afterburners.

Problem solved.

Every other ship bonus limits to modules of the size appropriate for the hull; to do so uniformly except for this this single subsystem is asinine.

Except that rate of fire bonuses actually apply to all weapon types in most cases

Speed and shield tanking with cap boosters? NO WAY CALL THE POLICE! CCP should make sure the tengu cannot fly over 100m/s and has terrible cap. All pilots who are good at flying them should be banned now.

I have engaged one of these which was solo and been in fleet battles agasint a load of them. And I do not think they should be nerfed, and I have to ask why is it when something interesting, a challenge is there you lot want to nerf it. Its like the Drake, its different, it has a tank and lower DPS and now its going to b echanged to a higher DPS and lower tank and that hurts noobs. In this case you are going after players who have set themselves up with training and implants and boosters like this to have an advantage in a very expensive ship.

Now it is not pleasent when your on the receiving end of these Tengu's but for gods sake man up and work out how to beat them instead of hitting the nerf button.

And I seriously disagree with the coming nerf to the Drake, great way to hurt newer players CCP.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

They are beatable, with out ridiculous gang sizes but you have to be prepared to fight them. I fought one today as well as his 2 Hurricane buddies. I had 2 Drakes but ended up having to bail, due to burning out MWD trying to keep range from the Hurricanes. I would have lost 1 Drake in the fight had I stayed, but had I been better prepared the fight could of turned back to my favor.

The deal is you really have to fit your ship to counter the 100MN Tengu but it can be beaten. While it might be a tad OP I wouldn't say it needs to be nerf'd just yet. People just whine because their cookie cutter fits can't counter it.

btw When did the Machieral whines change to Tengu whines?
